Nice bright modern restaurant/seating area however felt it lacked atmosphere. Very little on the menu to cater for dietary requirements (was aware of this at time of booking). Food was ok, service was good.

A trustful and genuine rendition of some classics of the Portuguese cuisine. As a Portuguese I strongly recommend the place.

I wouldn't usually write a review every time I visit a restaurant, but somehow Jorges deserves it. It is such a unique place, just the right size, a gentle buzz of conversations, but nothing that can be overheard. The owner and his staff are so very welcoming, service is perfect, not at all intrusive and the food gets better all the time, This time we tried the sardines, which we hadn't seen before, so delicious we ordered them again. I cannot offer high enough praise for this wonderful restaurant. I travel from Colchester and my friend from Cambridge just to meet and eat at Jorges, well worth the journey - thank you.

Came here for a meal pre theatre. Very glad we booked as it's a snug intimate restaurant and obviously very popular. We were first service and it quickly became full. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and the price very reasonable for the quality. We asked a few questions about the food and wine, staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Compliments to the staff and kitchen.

Our meal felt very special as unusual and interesting menu. Chef is wonderful and we enjoyed all our meal. Staff very attentive.

We had a really nice meal with great fish, breads, olives and salads. Everything was delicious and the staff were fantastic, but not as good as the Pastel de nata!

First time visit for lunch and certainly won't be the last. Loved every mouthful and the value for money was great. We will be back.

Great venue for Portuguese tapas, fabulous steaks & wine. Staff very friendly & ambience good. Had a lovely lunch with friends, recommend booking as it is a popular venue.

I have recently been made Chair of AgeUK Norwich and visited the restaurant as it supports the Charity in lots of ways. Other Trustees recommended the restaurant and they were absolutely correct. Two of us had lunch ( Sardines the best ever) and another 4 tapas ( fish and meats- fabulous ) with some Dao wine. No room for Portuguese custard tart which was a shame but next time!! Thoroughly recommend the cuisine and excellent staff. ,

Absolutely amazing Tapas lunch. Couldn’t fault it. Staff kept us well informed. Explained the menu. Beautiful little venue. We’ll definitely be back. The flavours were simply amazing and very reasonably priced with fresh produce.
