Came for Sunday roast it was absolutely delicious we have been a few times and always have a good meal

Visited The Plough again on Sunday 18/01/26 with family, this place really is a hidden gem and worth shouting about, the food is absolutely spot on.

During 2025 we visited the restaurant several times, each visit was satisfactory and for a pub very nice. January 2026, I am sorry and I don't know what is going on. Staff as always very friendly. Food average steak's over cooked, only expensive wines available most out of stock. Sadly no heating on, very cold! Look at the reviews for Christmas 2025 and make your own decisions.

We were a party of 4 adults for a meal on Saturday evening. We were seated in the bar area which was busy and had a cosy feel. We all enjoyed a different main course, each was tasty and there was more than enough. The staff were all helpful and polite. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

Visited for a meal with friends. Great experience from start to finish. Lovely country pub feel, staff attentive and pleasant and the food was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Excellent god value Tapas

Great food and service. As always. Looking forward to our next visit.

For the main part it was a good experience to have lunch there with my daughter but I do have one criticism. I felt that there were too many tables packed together. Even the waitress was having some difficulty manoeuvring herself through small spaces to access customers with food.

Always the friendliest welcome here ! I always book a particular table and my request is always honoured. Menu is varied and priced well for the most delicious food We love our “girlie meet ups” here. Attentive service from the Team and the cakes / brownies are plentiful and delicious As always THANK YOU Team Maxy. 5* all the way

Great food great price and lovely setting. I gad the pulled pork wrap from the specials menu and it was very nice. My sister in law had the jacket potato and she enjoyed that too.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch at Maxy Farm. The food was excellent and the service was equally excellent. I would recommend Maxy farm as an outstanding place to enjoy a meal.

The good was delicious and good sized portions. One member of the party didn't get the drink or meal she wanted as they had run out (Guinness zero as the driver, and the hotpot). The service was very slow.

Went for lunch, soup and a sandwich. The soup was fantastic as was the sandwich! Service was great. Never had a bad experience here
