The White Hart – IronbridgeOmg what a gorgeous little pub, hidden down the lanes, lovely modern and bright interior. Lovely welcome from the staff. The food well where do I start absolutely amazing, portion sizes are big. Starters are like mains, mains amazing, didn't have deserts as couldn't eat anything else. Staff so polite, will definitely be back soon..5*++++
The Smokey Cow – TelfordGreat food and service will definitely be back
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgePopped in here having been recommended it by a friend. It’s a little hidden away but I was surprised on arrival at how clean and modern it was inside. The menu isn’t bad, very similar to a hickory’s. They could maybe do with a better steak selection to include a rib eye or tomahawk offering to set that side of it apart. We wanted the pit master but they had ran out of ribs after a very busy bank holiday so I had a mixed grill. The food was good, all cooked well and tasty, the chips especially were lovely. The peppercorn sauce was a little runny maybe but that was my only gripe. Service was excellent, quick and attentive without being fussy. Will definitely be going back here to work my way through the menu.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordThe restaurant was lovely, food very nice and staff member that was on was very friendly, the only complaint was the wait. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't get our mains until 8pm. We was told there was a technical issue in the kitchen however customers that arrived after us still received their food before us. Again, lovely food but the wait was a bit ridiculous.
The Bull – ShrewsburyStaff were very thoughtful and went the extra mile without being asked! Food was delicious and there was a wide range of reasonably priced wines and some lovely local spirits.
The White Hart – IronbridgeAmazing! Absolutely stunning restaurant - friendly staff and fantastic food. Highly recommend and will defintely be back.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordFood amazing , service superb , lovely country pub !
The Smokey Cow – TelfordSecond time I’ve been for Sunday dinner and both times it didn’t disappoint! Great food and great service :)
The Bull – Shrewsbury⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very nice, lovely place. Soon returning.
The Bull – ShrewsburyAbsolutely wonderful meal last night for my husband's birthday. Everyone enjoyed the evening and the tasty affordable well presented food. Thanks Mark, Kerry, Sophia & anyone else we have missed to thank!xx
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyHad a lovely Sunday lunch standard prices can’t complain. Only issue was the chicken roast didn’t state it came with stuffing so I paid to have extra and then it came twice.. and it also didn’t state that it had apricot in it so it wasn’t to my taste so I had two portions of stuffing I couldn’t eat. Other than that lovely roast. Maybe include a small pot of gravy for the table if getting roasts as runs out quite quickly :)
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyBeen previously and absolutely loved it, was really looking forward to our second visit. Bitterly disappointed. Place was dirty, mop strings on floor by my chair, squashed lime wedges on floor, drinks served in filthy glasses. Atmosphere and service was not good. Felt very understaffed. Kitchen porter having to bring food out in dirty kitchen clothes. Kitchen door continually banging and squealing (needs WD40) food was ok, nothing specially unlike last time, chorizo had hardly been fried before serving so looked very unappetising, tacos dry needed more sauce, however quesadilla was delicious. Unfortunately we won’t return.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeWe had driven almost half an hour to get here because we have been before and loved the food, but on arrival there was a singer on who was absolutely ridiculously loud, even shouting next to each other you couldn’t hear what was said. Nightmare getting served at the bar. When we were sat at a table we were told that there were no burgers, no ribs and didn’t hear the rest…. but burgers make up a huge part of the menu and were what we had gone for. Ended up leaving and going elsewhere so really disappointed.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe food is perfectly good pub grub. It maybe doesn't live up to its claim of an eclectic mix of world street food and British gastronomy, but we have no complaint about the food. The service was what let it down. Four members of staff ignored us as we waited to be seated and once we had ordered drinks we were left alone for twenty minutes. Service was fine, when it happened, but a little disinterested.
The Malthouse – TelfordThoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Smokey Cow. Food was really good and venue was nice and comfortable. Will definitely visit again
The Smokey Cow – TelfordCannot praise enough. Arrived and shown to our table but very noisy group in the restaurant. Asked to move outside no problem. Staff were so friendly & really lovely. And the food was amazing. We will definitely return. The whole visit was just fab.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe booked to celebrate a wedding anniversary and previously co texted the last inn to inform then of two vegan and one also gluten free - however there was only one meal on the menu that was both vegan and gluten free ! We arrived to what was apparently clear - shirt staff and stressed staff who didn’t have the time to greet customers when they arrived other than to say quite abruptly “ be with you in minute” it was 8 minutes before we got to place the drink order at the bar . Then showed to our table but drinks didn’t arrive due 10 minutes - each drink firmly ‘banged down on the table ‘ we ordered food and made it very clear that the vegan gluten free dish must be exactly that and waitress assured us it would be . Three meals arrived after 35 minutes but not the vegan gluten free one ! We asked after 5 minutes where it was because we couldn’t wait any longer as food getting cold. We were told the chef didn’t do gluten free pasta in original dish so was making g it again - when it arrived ( after asking ) we had all eaten out meals ! It arrived and the pasta was not cooked ! It was sent back and 20 minutes later we received the meal which was as ordered and cooked - however she then ate alone as we we were all finished ages ago - so awkward especially as it was a wedding anniversary and the couple didn’t even eat together - so embarrassing as they were our guests and we recomended the Last Inn ! The waitress came past the table and said “taken the pasta off the bill “ well that was the very least they could do after three attempts to serve a meal . Extremely disappointed- staff were stressed and had attitude which was not the atmosphere or customer service we hoped for . The singer that was on that night was very good but very loud which made it very difficult to talk or be heard Sadly left feeling very sad that our guests experienced that service on their anniversary
