Y Sgwar – PorthmadogI love this place!!! The food is always amazing, the staff are really lovely and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Cant fault anything, always a lovely time here without fail.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogBooked a meal for the family (son, wife and grand-children, daughter and husband and ourselves) post -Christmas. Had a lovely evening - staff were attentive but also left us alone to chat; food and drink were delicious (although not all first choices were available; but hey, post Christmas and New Year!) and everybody enjoyed it; atmosphere was great.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenGreat food. Great service. Decor is a little cliche and table cloths would be better than the faux marble. The dining area was a little cold but we had a really nice meal.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogEverything about Y Sqwar -The Square in Tredadog is outstanding. I was in food heaven. The Welsh lamb was so tender it near melted in my mouth. The service was exceptional too. I very much look forward to my next visit.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogExcellent meal , Chilli con carne was one of the best I’ve tried . Lovely presentation. Friendly staff and value for money . Would highly recommend a visit
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat atmosphere with a very good choice in music playing to suit the time and day. Food was very nice too. There was a great member of staff who made the visit very welcoming and I’d return because of his service.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenWe’ve stayed in llanbedr four times now and the Victoria inn is by far our favourite place for a meal or just a drink. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The food is the best pub food by far the best I’ve ever had.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthThe restaurant was very busy but our order was taken quickly. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and very tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly. All in all another lovely meal at Y Sqwar
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogOur experience was extremely poor last night. I booked a table for 5pm as we had a toddler in our party. No member of staff came to take a drinks order and when we eventually had our meals it was an hour and a half later. Needless to say we were all very unhappy by this point. Out of nine meals ordered, only three were hot and the rest were lukewarm . Our waitress asked if we wanted desserts but of course by this time we weren’t interested. The manager came to our table when we told a member of staff that we were not happy and he just offered us some money off vouchers for our next visit. We explained that we would not be coming back again and would not recommend The Bridgend.
The Bridge End Hotel – LlangollenAte here last year it was very good, booked again as we were staying nearby. It’s a nice place and staff are lovely. Main problem table of four people sat near us the lady was so loud constantly telling her husband off, other people commented on it. Food was ok but the beef was tough.
Y Sgwar – PorthmadogGreat atmosphere. Great service. Great food. Highly recommend
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAte at the Victoria twice over the Christmas period and both times the food was delicious, service was great and prices were very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere, warm and cosy with lovely Christmas decorations. Also lots of options for a coeliac diner and fussy kids! Would highly recommend
