The Davenport Arms, Macclesfield

Having visited "The Davenport Arms' last Monday (5th May 2008) we can only say that from the minute we entered their doors we were impressed by the friendliness and willingness of all staff. Furthermore, it did not stop there.... the quality of food and quantity served (and at favourable prices) in the restaurant was exceptional... with staff checking as to our satisfaction and further requirements as necessary. A very memorable occasion. Thank you to all staff. Mr & Mrs Field

Belle Epoque, Knutsford

We held our wedding here in June 2007. What a fantastic place and the perfect choice. We knew the food was great but the whole package was brilliant - the surroundings, the food, the wine, the service - all amazing. We still get people commenting that its the best wedding they've ever been to. People just raved about the menu we chose and the quality of the food. We were also made to feel that ours was the first and most important wedding ever held there. For a wedding venue that's a real accomplishment. The beauty of the Belle though is whether its a wedding or a meal for 2, you won't be disappointed.

A bit difficult to find but worth the trip. Lovely walks and food. It's about ten mins from Congleton. Had a rare beef sandwich with salad. Very nice indeed. Sweets very good too. My other favourite place is L'Endroit, Congleton. Excellent food.

Greek Taverna, The, Hoylake

Service excellent. The squid rings were the best I had tried in ages in that they were not overcooked and the batter was extremely light. My husband had the moussaka which came in its own dish and was good though I think he prefers it a little drier. The kleftico was very good. The portions sizes are just about right and we will visit again.

Superb meal at the Yellow Broom on Saturday night. The steak (and my partners lamb) was cooked to perfection! Staff were very attentive, extremely polite and professional. Have never had a bad meal here. It will always be my favourite. Would recommend it to anyone.
