Excellent service, good food and really good value

As always, we enjoyed our lunch at Café de Paris. The food is delicious and fresh, the service helpful, and a friendly welcome is certain. Every time we visit Nantwich we make sure we book as nowhere else compares.

Excellent midday lunch.Generous portion size of hot well presented food.Good choice of "proper beers" Number one on our choice in Chester/West Cheshire

Food and beer was nice, the food being piping hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only slight downside was the crumble of the Chicken Leek and Tarragon crumble was powdery not crunchy, but this did not detract from the taste.

Great meal on Tuesday, as always!! Love Pacinos.

Great Cosmopolitan cocktail to start! Great food served at just the right pace. Excellent sirloin steaks and Bailey's creme brulee to round off a lovely evening. Serving staff are lovely. Not many people in but that's to be expected on a Tuesday night just after Christmas

My husband and I with two friends ate at Bacchus on Sunday 12th January. The food was stunningv and the staff as usual were first class . I know why it is difficult to get in for Sunday lunch they do everything so well. Nothing is too much trouble A relaxing Sunday afternoon enjoying the company of friends , a perfect day .

Fantastic Sunday meal better than any other Sunday meal I’ve had . Starters we had avocado and prawns on a bed of lettuce. Main course 3 meat turkey/ beef/ and pork with all the trimmings fantastic to full for a pudding but definitely next time thank you Phil& ann

Me and my Wife have been coming here for about 7 or 8 years. Love it every time, great food and staff, no rushing us and great atmosphere. Just a lovely relaxing place to go to. Never had a bad meal here. Would highly recommend visiting.

I was looking for a restaurant for a special family meal and The Alvanley Arms was reccommended to me. I was disappointed with the table we were given, there were five of us crammed onto a table for four even though there were other tables available which would have been more comfortable. The pub/restaurant was nearly empty, admittedly the snow and ice were pretty bad and this made for a not particularly nice ambience. The food was ok but nothing special. One server was extremely morose and the other was a little to free with her personal life. We were about to order more drinks when we were told the pub was closing in the next ten minutes although it was only 9:40pm. I don't think i will be going back and could not in all conciousness reccommend it either.

Our party of 4 had a great meal with good beer and wine. The atmosphere was fine, although we were asked to leave at 2140, as the pub was very quiet.
