Friendly atmosphere, staff great, we ate there 4 times during our short stay at South Lakes and the food was excellent every time. Highly recommended, and will definitely be visiting again on our next stay.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at this small gem in Grasmere. The Shawarma Tofu Curry entree and Portobello Mushroom starter were absolutely delicious!! Be sure to make a reservation!

An excellent pub, very welcoming, and the food was top notch, especially the plaice and chips! We had a lovely en-suite room with a very comfortable bed. We would definitely recommend.
