We had an amazing meal here, service was excellent with lovely friendly and attentive staff. The food was superb, much more than your average pub food that you normally get in Keswick and we definitely go back when we are next in the Lakes (it’s just out of the main area of pubs, but well worth the walk) Cannot fault any of it

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeExcellent food not just standard pub grub. I had the venison bourguignon which was delicious. My wife had the slow cooked lamb which was just as expected but she couldn't finish it all...I helped. Also the fish pie was delicious full of prawns and fish with loads of buttery mash on top. Good selection of beers too. Would and have highly recommend it to everyone.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickUpon booking, we were requested to email our order in advance due to the number of our party (eight). After waiting for twenty minutes without any refreshments offered, we were asked to place our order anyway. Two other tables, each of two, arrived after us and also ordered after us were served promptly. Despite the tasty and of high quality food, the food was lukewarm and the service was subpar.

Surprised not to see this on menu last night Opted for the £30 sirloin but too big too boring and the chips mushroom and tomatoes boring Left quite a lot. Please reintroduce flat iron or even bavette steak. Service as always excellent.

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleStayed two nights and ate both nights and can't fault it the food was delicious we had the fish and chips also the steak pie and the burger everything we had was delicious . The staff were all brilliant couldn't do enough for you, can't fault the place.
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithWe were recommended this pub while we were staying in Keswick, it's a lovely place, plenty of staff on hand. Fantastic Sunday lunch. We should have visited more than once during our stay, will definitely call again next time we are in the area.
