I had possibly the best fish pie ever. Lots of fish , the sauce not overpowering and the mash with cheesy topping a cream My husband had the steak pie no complaints

Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely friendly pub food was lovely would highly recommend
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe visited as a group of six and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, several of us had the lamb, which was delicious. The service was great and very accommodating, especially as a couple of our group arrived slightly late due to an ill baby. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe booked for a Sunday lunch for 4 adults and was blown away with the service at the bar and having a laugh with bar staff and they couldn't do enough with a fussy eater who doesn't eat potatoes so gave extra veg and when the meals came it was cooked to perfection and veg still firm and tasty the meat was thick slices and plenty of it and all this from a country pub with not much competition around is outstanding value for money and to top it off it's dog friendly it's worth more than a 5 star review definitely going to eat again the only downside is they don't serve food on a Monday but suppose everyone is entitled to have a day off
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsWe always try and visit when we're in Keswick. It's what we call a proper pub. You can't go wrong with the Lakeland Beef Pie. It's delicious and just what you want after a good day's walking!! There's a good selection of beers and wines. The service is spot on too.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAbsolutely delicious, our family of 4 all loved their meals and puddings. The steak pie was delightful. We will definitely visit again.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickThis place smelled awful. Mouldy and musty. Zero atmosphere. Food was pretty below average. Steaks over cooked. Vegetarian offering was poor. Nothing fresh. Wouldn’t recommend and would not return. Table was sticky and yuk. Great care was given towards my two coeliac children though so thank you for that!
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithSo good we are going back with friends who are very fussy eaters!!!
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWe had dinner there just this week, and it was a great experience. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty and there were big servings! Loved the Butternut Squash soup in particular. And the atmosphere is...perfect. Don't miss this terrific pub in you're in Keswick!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe went here for an evening meal whilst on holiday in Keswick. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. The menu provides plenty of choice and the food was delicious. We will certainly return next time we are in Keswick.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickArrived a little early but allowed to take a seat at our table. Ordered a drink at the bar prior to sitting but first thing offered was the drinks service. Had a starter and main which sadly didn’t leave sufficient space for a desert. Homemade butternut squash soup for starters was fantastic so soup of the day worth a try. The main was great with ample portions. Service was fantastic and we were well looked after. We will return next time we are in Keswick.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWhat can I say that I haven't said before on previous reviews, the service we received was outstanding answering questions on food from the special board , looking after us ,the quality of food outstanding, from start to finish excellent
Pheasant Inn – KeswickDined here last night with my two daughters - a half way meeting place between our homes in Scotland and England. We absolutely loved it! Friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Great choice of food, beautifully cooked and so tasty. We enjoyed a number of tapas - outstanding were the chorizo and chimmichuri chicken plus a delicious goat cheese and fig pizza with honey. Super thin, light base and so full of flavour. We loved everything about this place and wish we lived closed as we would return in a heartbeat! Thanks guys and may you go from strength to strength!
Sage and Vine – CarlisleExcellent food and service. We really enjoyed ourselves and have recommended to friends. Hopefully we’ll be back very soon.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGreat pub with a huge welcome. Good choice is perfect and well cooked/presented. Real ale is well kept and pulled perfectly. Very friendly and I recommend this pub to anyone
Queens Head Inn Tirril – PenrithWe have eaten here before and loved it. We fancied a drive out for an evening meal and it was worth the 100 mile round trip. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and the food was delicious. We’ll be back soon.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeFabulous Saturday evening curry with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonExcellent food, attentive staff, good selection of real ales, reasonably priced menu, dog friendly pub too, what's not to like. A pub we return to when we visit Keswick. Book in advance, as others appreciate this pub too.
