Friendly, prompt service and food basically excellent. Soggy chips reduce the number of stars I award from five to four-and-a-half.

We had a lovely meal here a couple of nights ago. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The service was great too. Would recommend.

Really enjoyed our lunch visit to La Mezzaluna. Bright seats by the window or more cosy feeling seats further back. We booked here because it was one of the few places that stays open during the afternoon as opposed to many other places which close after lunch and re-open later! We had three courses and a nice bottle of prosecco which was served in the most gorgeous glass I have ever drank prosecco from! Its the little things that count! The food was gorgeous - Tiramisu was fantastic. Staff so friendly and cheery and I would highly recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service was excellent unfortunately I cannot remember her name other than a young American lady who had just had her birthday. Service was quick as we didn’t have to wait long for our meal and the atmosphere was really good

Best fillet steak I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff looked after us well, lovely place, 2nd time we’ve been and will definitely go again on our next visit.

Fabulous service, food and wine. The Sea Bass was delicious as was the Pork Belly. The desserts were also great!

Pretty pub slightly off the beaten track. Very popular the evening we went. The food was lovely. The staff were too. Would recommend.

Really enjoyed all our food here, great flavours and quality and extremely well cooked, especially my partner’s steak pie. We did feel it lacked atmosphere and welcome though, although individually each member of staff was pleasant enough, especially a young waitress who made an extra effort to be welcoming.

Another visit to the Pheasant inn in Keswick and we enjoyed a beautifully cooked, delicious dinner served by friendly and attentive staff.

We had a nice meal overall. However, we were told when ordering that there was no more tofu, which was very disappointing as the vegan tofu dish was the reason we booked a table at this restaurant. My husband found his dessert (lemom posset) scrumptious, and the waitor was friendly.

Excellent meal, very good pub fare. Good portions and very friendly service. Definitely recommend.

We felt well looked after from the minute we booked. We were sent a timely reminder; we were served drinks and nibbles outside at our request on a nice summer evening while our main course was being prepared; and all our needs were met. In keeping with such friendly and professional service, the food was divine. We felt it was on a different level from most restaurants where we have eaten. The menu is imaginative, the portions good and the quality exceptional. We are only sorry we don't live in the area as we would become frequent patrons. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch and breakfast at The Wheatsheaf. Staff extremely helpful and unobtrusive. Food was delicious. Stayed for one night here and would highly recommend, the room was extremely clean and comfortable, thought of everything, including earplugs should you be a light sleeper, as church bells chime throughout night. Highly recommend for either eating or staying at this establishment. Will be back.

Had a lovely relaxing meal meal last week (w/e 27 July 24). We both had the prawns to start with, followed by the fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection. The services was efficient and friendly.
