Held a family meal for 19 people for my daughter’s 18th birthday last night. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. All meals came out together hot and with no mistakes. Mezzaluna is a firm favourite in our house and as always did not disappoint, we highly recommend eating here

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleDined late November not too busy. Only one waitress but she worked the tables really well, very chatty and efficient. The menu was excellent a little over priced, but the food was nicely presented and delicious. Good drinks menu, nice coffee. Well worth a visit.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe Nearly walked past the restaurant because I suppose I was looking for something bigger and there wasn’t much lighting on the sign , but once through the door we were greeted by lovely staff and a warm atmosphere, We started with the scallops which was absolutely beautiful and then the chicken for the main course, again absolutely beautiful, i left nothing on the plate, it was pricey but so worth it I would certainly return.
