Best Sunday roast for a country mile. Couldn’t fault it. Lot of variety in the veg and good sized portions.

4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids) had a great tea there yesterday, lots of friendly people and dogs to chat too, lovely food and atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. The food was great and wish we could've stayed for lunch too as the menu looks amazing! Perfect for wheelchair users to have a table at the front. Would love to be able to access the menu online/ on social media prior. Highly recommend :)

the food was excellent the fillet steak being one the best I have had, the wine was reasonably priced and the whole dining experience was very good. However we were disappointed to find having arrived on time that our pre booked table wasn't ready and we were asked to wait at the bar which meant standing for twenty minutes. As we are both in our seventies we felt this was a touch to much. We did order our food and drink whilst stood at the bar but felt uncomfortable standing there.

Really lovely meal last night. Food was gorgeous, hot and very tasty. Brilliant value and massive portions. Staff were lovely and efficient.

We had a lovely meal, both of our risottos were delicious and how great that you offer a smaller portion. It was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were spot on. The cheesecake was incredibly light, probably the lightest I’ve ever eaten and with an egg allergy, I was happy to find a dessert I could safely eat.

We spent two pleasant evenings at Lewis's Bistro. Service was attentive and efficient and the staff were friendly. The French onion soup was the best I've ever tasted and the belly pork was perfectly cooked. The slight downside was the choice of drinks. We had an excellent cider with our pork on the first night but they had run out on the next night. The wine we chose instead was OK but did nothing to enhance our meal.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, both of us enjoyed our meal and were impressed with the speed and overall experience of our dining at La Mezzaluna. We'll definitely be back!

We have been visiting the Pheasant on a Friday in March for many years and it is still as good as ever. See you next year!
