La Mezzaluna – CarlisleHad a spa package which was excellent! Lunch afterwards was good but service could be improved. Lovely friendly staff but they kept disappearing!
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsAbsolutely lovely place and food
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsVisiting the lakes and see the pheasant inn on Google, I must say the food was excellent as was the atmosphere. My only small gripe was the seating was very snug, all in all very nice experience, and would definitely return if back in the area again. Thanks.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickGreat beer, great food, great staff, great value, very friendly pub atmosphere, what more could you ask for, I wish we had tried this place many years ago, we will definitely be back Thank you
Pheasant Inn – KeswickCosy and very friendly pub with great meal options for everyone’s taste. There were four of us having an evening meal and two went for the beef pie and two for a vegetarian option , all were delicious as was the perfectly cooked accompanying veg. Great traditional pub with atmosphere to match. Dog friendly.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFirst rate meal. Certainly left a lot heavier than when I went in and very good value too. Thank you.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAn excellent meal again at The Pheasant. Service ,food and atmosphere excellent. We also had our dog with us and she was made very welcome . Will definitely return the next time we are in Keswick x
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAfternoon tea at Augil Castle is really special , the staff are very good at being there when you need them but otherwise leaving you alone to enjoy the experience Just for a while you can pretend that the castle is all yours.
The Music Room Restaurant at Augill Castle – Kirkby StephenWe had a lovely evening even though we were the only ones there as it was a Sunday evening. The hostess was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent beef blade was well flavoured and tender as was the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and so soft you could have eaten it with a spoon. Will definitely return if we are in Penrith again.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithWe have been visiting the Pub since the early 1990,s and have seen many changes in this time. Wonderful location, atmosphere and staff. The food has changed over the years and was ok. Couple of points we would like to make from our last visit, the prawn starter is served with no side salad or accompaniment. The prawns were a lovely flavour but were lonely on there own. The main roasts were served slightly cold, and I asked if I could change the mash for cauliflower cheese and was told flat no. I wouldn’t of minded paying the difference, but no option was offered. These are a few points of feedback, overall we enjoyed our food and visit. The waitress was attentive and the food was served in a timely fashion. There was ample staff to deal with the customers throughout the pub.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWas down visiting parents in workington and booked here for Sunday Lunch, it was fabulous best tasting Roast Beef, proper Yorkshire pudding and Roast potatoes , staff were amazingly helpful, would def recommend you try it well worth it.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFantastic meal, lovely milkshakes, service great & everything reasonably priced, look forward to going back
Plant by Kat’s Kitchen – KeswickLovely atmosphere, very tasty food and attentive hosts. Well worth a visit, we would definitely return!
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithLovely pub - food and beer excellent and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend
Pheasant Inn – KeswickPurchase a Spa and afternoon tea offer. Spa was wonderful, food great but service was terrible. They don't seem to do anything logically, eg when bringing food, taking empty plates back. We had to get up and look for menu to order sweets and when it came to pay there was nobody around so had to ask at reception.
