Purchase a Spa and afternoon tea offer. Spa was wonderful, food great but service was terrible. They don't seem to do anything logically, eg when bringing food, taking empty plates back. We had to get up and look for menu to order sweets and when it came to pay there was nobody around so had to ask at reception.

We checked out the website and booked online, which was an easy process. On arrival we were greeted warmly. We were disappointed that we had to choose from a Xmas menu, with very little choice. The portion sizes were small. The turkey was thinly sliced and I've seen similar prepackaged meats in the supermarket. We didn't have a dessert.

Wonderful meal and service. great atmosphere. Will be back.

Service excellent but food average. May return again when less busy in January perhaps. Starter garlic prawns was lukewarm and main veg well overcooked unfortunately.

Excellent last night as always with this venue....we're hoping to return around christmas with the family...very welcoming & lovely food. I had he steak & my partner had the cod....plus starters & desserts....all perfecto

Our 1st visit to Grants last night, will definitely be back, lovely food. Blade of beef was amazing, all very tasty. There was 4 of us & we all had a lovely evening. Staff were so nice.

As always food was top notch, staff are very friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble, even down to my request for chocolate cheesecake on Christmas Eve. We absolutely love this restaurant, definitely the best Italian in town!!!

Fantastic food with excellent service

I had lunch with friends in the bar area, there were other functions on at the same time, so maybe short staffed. The service was appalling, from waiting for a menu, to taking the order, the wrong soup arrived that I hadn't ordered, I was told they had run out of my order, but no one asked if it was ok to substitute Then had to wait for someone to order coffee, no one around so that we could pay, tried to pay at reception where there were 4 staff, told to go back in the bar area where we waited again, I love the netherwood, it holds special memories, but you need to improve on simple service

This is the Best Pub In the Lakes...The Food is excellent...The staff are more than accommodating.... And make you feel welcome. We always eat here when visiting Keswick it's a tradition of which we look forward too! I had the Beef Madras... Recommended by the delightful Barman who assured me It wasn't Too Hot and he was right.... The Beef was so tender and tasty... The food was well presented and Piping Hot... nd great value for money It's a delight and the Locals are lucky to have this Pub on their doorstep the best in Keswick.... we will be back! Well done to all at The Pheasant Inn!!
