I have eaten here several times and always enjoyed good food, beers and service. Very recommended

We went to this restaurant may bank holiday weekend. Surroundings were very nice & the house red but unfortunately I couldn't say the same about the food. I had steak rossini , the actually steak was nice, but wasn't cooked as I requested. the sauce was awful sweet sherry sauce & really wasn't very nice. My fiance ordered halibut , was nicely cooked but no sauce with it .With the main courses we got a small bowl of roasted peppers & aubergines & a few under done roasted potato's. We were very disappointed with the meal as it was for a special birthday . Wouldn't recommend .this restaurant.

Went here on May Bank holiday & had a very nice lunch, all local sourced food / organic.Lots of choice & lots of choice for vegetarians. Highly recommend it :-)

Absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend, I had the freshest, most delicious, high standard food here that I have ever eaten. Beautiful free canapes and bread were also brought to our table with most attentive staff. 4 of us dined at Francine's and none of us were disappointed. Restaurant and toilets were also very clean and inviting. Well done!! We will return and will be telling our friends.

Very strange service here! I ordered my chicken jalfrezi with rice and a sparkling water. "what else would you like sir?" nothing i replied. "you need to order something else sir" he said 3 times! no i kept saying. he then said "minimum order £10". Firstly i have never heard of this ever when eating in a restaurant. Secondly the order value came to £14.45?? Food was OK.

We booked a table but arrived late - (after they'd closed). We were made really welcome and found the manager really helpful. One of our party has a wheat intolerance and was pleasantly surprised that she was offered wheat free pasta!!. I had their homemade pizza with a salad, both tasted really fresh. We had a couple of bottles of chianti with our mains which was equally delicious. I'd recommend Rossinis to couples and groups - there's a fantastic vibe and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. 5 stars!!

This pub catered for me and 21 members of my friends and family for my 30th birthday. Not many pubs in Cumbria will take that many on as we learned that they get a lot of tourism anyway and didn't want the hastle, but The Pheasant Inn were friendly, efficient, professional and catered for all our needs also the food was fantastic. Top class pub!

STAY AWAY IS ALL I CAN SAY . SOGGY BATTER AND GREASY CHIPS DONT KNOW WHAT ALL FUSS WAS ABOUT . WONT BE GOING BACK . STAFF MEMBER THAT SERVED US WAS RUDE AND INPATIENT WITH MY ELDERLY MOTHER NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely evening at Francines. We visited on the back of a recommendation and all of the food was fantastic. The service and atmosphere were great. Lovely touch to bring some canapes to start with and the panacotta was the best I've tasted outside Italy! Even the house wine was very good. Not cheap but very much worth it!

Superb, freshly prepared food. I had the full English ( not greasy at all ) and my wife had the home made soup. The children had ham and cheese toasties with lattice fries. Excellent value, good, clean premises. Will go again.

The Fish and Chips here are to die for. Beautiful fresh fish with nice chips and mushy peas. I called in here at 2.45pm asking what time they closed, 3pm said the barman, but it's not a problem, we will stay open and cook for you. Brilliant service and I shall be calling back each time I'm in Maryport.

What a place! Enjoyed a wonderful night at the castle. We chose our room , the Langdale. It was a real treat to have a real fire in our room as we went to sleep. Up in the morning for a fine breakfast followed by a game of tennis on the castle's picturesque court. Then a walk up to the "9 standards" after looking at the nearby ruins of Brough Castle.

Wonderful hotel with character. Beautiful views over Morcambe Bay. The thing I noticed was how immaculate the place was. The rooms are great value. Will be back.

Outstanding Service & Menu. An ideal place to take my wife for a special meal - who happens to be a Veggie,this was not a problem at all. Well done
