We were really happy with Woodstone pizza & Flame grill. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. We took our three year old son and staff were wonderful with him. It is definitely a place you can go with the family. The food took a little bit of time getting to us but we could see it cooking and see the staff were all busy. I will most definitely be going back with my family. I believe this is just a new restaurant in keswick . Well it may be new but its the best I've been to. Many thanks to all the staff

Atmosphere so relaxing, staff friendly and unobtrusive and the food out of this world. Not an extensive menu however the description of each dish mouthwatering. The steak was perfection melted in the mouth. It's true you get what you pay for and this surpassed all expectations. A true gem, will certainly be back.

i visited this restaurant last saturday, it was shocking to see it so busy at this time of year, despite it being full the front of house staff made sure everybody was comfortable and were enjoying the evening, the food was also very good. recommend this place to everyone

i visited the lake district and stayed for 6 nights in bowness with my girlfriend, we tried the 2 indian restaurants in bowness and were disappointed, we ended up eating kebabs for 3 nights until the hotel receptionist recommended the prince of india in windermere, we thought we would try our luck and as it happens we were shocked the food was absolutely delicious, and thats coming from a couple who live in curry mile , manchester. the staff made our stay in windermere worthwhile, so for anyone visiting the lakes, this is the place to go for

me and my partner visited this restaurant 3 months ago and again today, the decor has improved significantly with all the modern furniture and lighting, i recognised the food and the staff were all still the same and were very welcoming just like before. definitely will eat again here next time. loving the refurbishment lol

This is by far the best Indian Restaurant i have ever eaten in. The Food, Staff Service and Atmosphere is perfect. A must visit for anyone travelling to the lake district. You will not be disappointed.

me and my family went to the prince of India restaurant the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly, helping us all to choose the right dishes to suit our appetites, highly recommend this restaurant if you are passing by Windermere

i eat here with my mam a couple of months ago it was amazing i'm going to book for this Saturday hopefully they have places! but my mams been there a few times and she loves it! its the best Spanish restaurant I've been too and i go to Spain a lot! the foods brilliant and good value for money the portions are too big for just one but sometimes its that good you could just eat it all! the service is just as good real good Spanish atmosphere and i love that they are dressed up in the proper Spanish costumes makes it even better!

We have now eaten at Keez several times and have enjoyed every occasion. The food is always varied, as well as being nicely cooked and presented. Service is excellent without making you feel pressurised or neglected. I have no hesitation in recommending it as a place to eat, and the mid week deals represent really good value for money.

We visited Caffe Treff on a damp cold day, and were met by friendly welcoming staff. The coffee was wonderful as was the hot chocolate, there was a large selection of cakes, the ones we tried were moist and delicious.Definitely worth a return visit.

Me and my friend came to oilys on Wednesday after all my friends said how good the food was BUT HOW WRONG THEY WERE the scampi wasn't cooked enough and the chips were cold and under cooked the waiting on staff are very friendly and the desserts were fantastic

The staff polite, the starter matched its name, combo very OILY! Left most of it, the chicken was anaemic. I had duck on rosti and mango sauce. Did the chef taste it? Absolutely revolting. The duck had no seasoning, and the rosti was slop on a plate. Definitely not fresh. My partner had curry and he said tasted like a frozen meal that had been microwaved. Not to our taste I'm afraid.

Yet again, a wonderful dinner with brilliantly friendly staff, a huge big thank you for making JGs' birthday so special xxx Food lovely, very large portions, great chili, always satisfying, nothing too much trouble, great staff, food and wine, see you again soon

Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere. Make sure you book though as it's very popular!I recommend the stuffed jalapenos!

Spent a very pleasant evening at Beswicks - the food was good complimented by excellent wine and service. And all at very reasonable prices.

Visited twice during half term and our children were warmly welcomed by the owner offering them toys to play with which helped us all relax and enjoy the enormous slices of cake and welcome drinks. Would recommend and will be back. :)

We went for Sunday lunch with some friends. Great location, great atmosphere with log fires and lovely food. Will be back again soon.

15 October 2011 found us in Millom celebrating and sharing our enjoyment of Millom poet Norman Nicholson with the NN Society. Serendipity on full beam delivered us to the Square at Broughton for the first time ever. The lights were on at Beswicks - and after a little wait - there was definitely 'someone in' - and a table for us too. We found ourselves, once again, in the same day, celebrating and sharing our new found enjoyment of Beswicks. There is not enough space here to say what a fabulous experience we both enjoyed and shared. Let's just say then that if there were boxes to tick for everything we used and experienced, whether physical, visual, auditory or kinesetic they would all be ticked. Thanks David and your Staff. We appreciated all the things that you have in your immense treasure chest right up to the decor.
