We ate here on 26/09. The meals was excellent, well presented with friendly and efficient staff. We would certainly recommend the Horse and Farrier and will be returning in the not too distant further.

Excellent food and service.

We always book dinner here when we're visiting Keswick and are never disappointed. The food is delicious, with some excellent local options. Nice range of wine and beers available. The service was quick without feeling rushed and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. We will be back next time we're in town!

Lovely attentive staff but so disappointed with the poor quality of the food this time Onion rings were inedible . Huge ,all batter with a tiny amount of onion . Roast beef in the soggy sandwich was stringy Noisy barking dogs on the next table eventually taken out Won't be returning

A lovely place to visit with friends. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and the food and wine that we had was superb. Will we visit again? Absolutely

Lovely busy pub but found room for our dogs and pushchair . Great food very friendly staff and roaring fire on a rainy night it was just what we wanted

Starter course was returned to the kitchen. Pigeon was significantly over cooked. Main course halibut was over cooked and dry: possibly linked to the delay due to returning the starters

Food was delicious, absolutely spot on for what we wanted. Gent behind the bar was brilliant, although very busy, extremely accommodating and friendly. We’ll definitely be sure to visit when back in the area.

Great menu with many options, including a wide range of GF choices, food served was delicious and generous, all came with dishes of vegetables (a welcome change). The service was exceptional and deserving of the fine reputation afforded. Definitely recommended.
