Brown Horse Inn – WindermereBeautiful restaurant. Fabulous food. Will definitely be back.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleGreat little pub restaurant far better than those in town. We popped in during the day for soup and it was do good we went back in the evening. Food freshly made and is excellent as is the beer, the vanilla and oatmeal stout was superb.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithAbsolutely fantastic food! We have eaten here many times and always had lovely food with a fabulous service and with a great atmosphere. I am coeliac and I have always had a good menu selection and never any problems.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereA lovely evening, lovely people, lovely food!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickThis restaurant was recommended to us so we visited and were really pleased with both the quality of the food and the friendly service.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleExcellent meal, very friendly and efficient staff in a very comfortable setting. Would definitely recommend!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmerePoor service really let Lewis’ down on our visit. We had a long (around 45 mins) wait between our starter and main, whilst other tables were served around us. Assume there was an error somewhere but nothing was communicated with us, servers avoided our table and it was almost impossible to catch their attention for more drinks etc. The visit was for my husbands birthday, so it was a huge disappointment to have a poor experience
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThe H& F is consistently excellent and that takes a lot of effort. We’re local and eat here regularly. We’ve not been disappointed once. Its regular menu is varied and is complemented by an extensive and imaginative specials menu. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly without being intrusive. All set in a traditional pub atmosphere.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithFood was delicious would definitely be back
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleFabulous meal again at the Pheasant. The duck and the pheasant with black pudding was exceptionally good and we all really enjoyed it. The staff are fab and make it a great night in a warm inviting atmosphere . Thanks and we will be back.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFriendly, relaxed atmosphere with different types of seating areas available to book a table in. We were happy to talk to other tables and discuss different food options. Vegetarian and meat eater both well catered for. He particularly enjoyed the pheasant and black pudding.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickOur second time at the restaurant whilst staying in Grasmere, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the food was divine, the staff are attentive and the overall experience is a pleasure, would definitely look to book again when staying in Grasmere as this is a treat to look forward to.
