I had an incredible meal at The Pheasant Inn. The dinner and dessert were delicious, and every single member of staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The pub was very cozy, well-decorated, clean. It was the best dining experience I had in the area by far! Highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant with nice but relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food. The scallops, lamb and cheeseboard were particularly good and the service just right. Would definitely return.

My wife and myself had another enjoyable evening at Lewis's Bistro during our recent stay in Grasmere, having visited the restaurant earlier in the year. Delicious fresh, home cooked food in a pleasant and relaxed environment with a friendly and welcoming host and staff . We hope to return to the Lake District early next year and look forward to paying another visit. Advise booking early if dining on Friday or Saturday.

Very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Good choices on menu with slight variations catered for, e.g. chips for mash

Decent food, service and value for money. Wife had Sea Bass and really enjoyed. I had Steak Pie and only minor criticism was pastry a bit thick in the bottom corner, but really tasty. A bit disappointed that a Robinson's Pub had no hand-pulled ale on.

Excellant meal and service

I had an excellent meal here. All the food was perfectly cooked. I recommend having the cheese soufflé as a dessert after a sorbet.

Their staff are fabulous and go out of their way to ensure all your needs are catered for. An absolute must if you fined yourself staying in Grasmere. You cannot leave without trying for yourself.

Excellent meal as always,unfortunately for us we can’t resist the fish and chips. Each visit we try to resist but it is sooo good we don’t have the willpower. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Lovely place to break the journey to the lakes .

Absolutely fabulous food and service. A great atmosphere and extremely friendly service, plus generous platefuls at excellent prices. Our new go-to place in Carlisle.

Fabulous restaurant. Amazing atmosphere with delicious food. The staff are so knowledgeable and attentive. Most definitely one of my favourite places
