The service and ambience was great - as ever (although the re-arrangement of the tables for two meant that I felt closer to someone on the next table than to my partner). The early-bird menu wasn't offered - maybe it's not available any more, although it's still on the website. The main problem was my pork - so tough I had to use my fingers and teeth in medieval fashion rather than the cutlery provided. Starters and my partner's main (salmon) were fine.

Arrived at the restaurant and explained that we had a booking. Was told “no you haven’t “. I showed the emails confirming that we had booked and the booking had been confirmed. No apology given which we felt was really poor. Food was lovely but felt the evening was tainted by the poor reception.

Omni in Malton is our go to special eatery. Staff are always very friendly and efficient . The food is Yorkshire Tapa, so tasty. Each dish has its own special flavour. Lovely atmosphere. Easy to park in the market square too. Highly recommend.

This is without doubt one of my favourite places to be; I cannot think of anything finer than spending an hour surrounded by cats. The staff are amazing, the carrot cake is the best I have ever eaten and the hour just flew by. Hubby and I chose to spend our 33rd wedding anniversary here and we loved it. We will be back next year - probably more than once.

Fantastic bottomless brunch for our party of 13 yesterday. The food was first class. The drink menu was huge, could literally get any drink you can think of. The cocktails were gorgeous. The staff were so friendly and efficient, we got so many drinks, they were so fast in taking our orders and getting them to us. Lara was really lovely. We all had a fantastic time, it was brilliant value for money, would definitely recommend.
