Visited on 7th Nov with my wife. What a superb evening, restaurant was relatively full but this did not retract from service. A reasonable time between courses allowing time to enjoy the wine but not to long. Owner on hand to ensure everyone happy very affable. We had pate starters and sea bass main all perfect. Great staff, great food good value. If we come back to the area will definitely call back.

Banarasi – HullWe first visited the King's Arms forty years ago. It was a delight, the real deal. Years later it’s pretty much the same but something has been lost. Thankfully the magnificent old fireplace remains and a fire is kept burning in the grate. The layout in the old bar doesn’t work well and isn’t even as in the web site - it’s hard to get a seat even when there aren’t many people there. The main eating areas in the old panelled snugs are pleasant but the old world charm and character has been lost due to poor choice of decor and furniture. The menu was ok, very much standard pub grub with a couple of specials. It was tasty enough. The service was always friendly and efficient.

I had the pork belly with lovely gravy, potatoes and loads of black pudding. My husband had the steak and ale pie with came with a large portion of chips and a great selection of fresh veg.

Food For Cowboys – HullWe always enjoy our visits to Omni. Gorgeous food, great ambiance and fantastic staff. After this visit we can highly recommend the prawn crumpet, slow cooked belly pork taco, pigs in blankets and all the accompanying sides. Drinks are equally good and well priced.

Banarasi – HullHonestly exceptional. Most likely the best restaurant in the area. The decor of the pub matches the beautiful surroundings. Every element of the meal is made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and the staff who are the heart and soul of it. I cannot wait to return.
