Tried here for our first time on Saturday and wasn't disappointed. Food was tasty, looked great and was well priced. Atmosphere and decor is lovely And the staff were very attentive and friendly. we will definitely visit again soon

Great food, atmosphere and staff. portion sizes were perfect too, on all fronts Husband and wife and 2 picky eating daughters, our youngest who lives off chicken nuggests and chips said that she would like to go there again (this never happens) she said she felt like she was on holiday. id give it a 10 if i could.

Visiting Askrigg for a week and ate here twice. Good atmosphere, attentive and friendly service and excellent food! Enjoyed the fish and chips on Friday and then chose from the varied selection of pies on offer on the following Thursday - my Mushroom Wellington was delicious. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to the King's Arms!

Fantastic food and great service. The staff were friendly and helpful. The menu had a lovely selection of small plates that were tasty and well presented. I particularly liked the cauliflower cheese fritters. Great drinks selection too with cocktails, wine and beer. Thank you for two lovely evenings of food and drink.

Had two meals at the Royal Oak as we were staying in the village. Lovely pub with a great menu offering favourites plus a good range of new dishes. Atmosphere lovely and we wish we had something similar nearer to home! Definitely recommend.

We had a table booked for a family birthday, table of 12. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The service was speedy and the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and we had a fabulous evening even the children were content through out our visit. Thank you so much for making it such a lovely experience and we will most definitely be returning.

Arrived a few minutes late, we were greeted with a smile and hello and show to our allotted table which was well placed. The service was excellent and we were never kept waiting. Food was excellent quality and piping hot where required. Food quality was excellent and good portions. Good range of drinks Overall a great experience, well done Raphs Lounge we will definitely be back!!!

I found my steak to be rather chewy, whereas my husband's was lovely and soft. There were too many sauces on the plate...peppercorn, garlic mushroom, salad dressing and some mayonnaise type thing (?) The service was friendly and despite their obvious inexperience, they did well. It would have been good to see more vegetarian options and sadly the beef ravioli I chose was not available.

Absolutely brilliant meal.

Thank you to the King's Arms for an excellent meal last night. We were a party of 6, and while most of us enjoyed the "Fish Night" offer of fish and chips, one chose the fish pie. All of us thought the food was delicious, well presented and prepared. The quantity of vegetables with the fish pie was generous, and they were perfectly cooked. Non-intrusive but attentive service delivered with a friendly smile. A warm atmosphere. All in all an excellent evening!
