Christakis Aigburth – AigburthExcellent, friendly, attentive service. Lovely atmosphere and decoration. You really feel you are dining in Italy. Very clean. Food and drinks are very good value. Home cooking with seasonal ingredients. Visited many times with husband and also with a group of ladies 'who like to lunch' Never disappointed. Always impressed. Will be returning.
Dolce Vita – SouthportAbsolutely excellent from beginning to end. We were met outside, escorted in, taken directly to our table and seated. The manager and staff were friendly, the service was attentive and friendly throughout, and there were no long waits between courses. The food was good quality, the restaurant was clean and bright, and the meal was excellent value for money. You certainly will not leave hungry. The money question, would we return, we absolutely will.

Dolce Vita – SouthportFresh, tasty, amazing Thai food! Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you!
Goya Bistro – St. HelensEnjoyed yet another visit to my favourite restaurant in Newton-Le-Willows. This time I wanted to try something different than my usual go to Thai Yellow Curry opting for King Prawn Pad Prik Gaeng and it did not disappoint. Full of flavour and a little spice will definitely order this dish again.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensWe had a well cooked, well presented meal that was really reasonably priced, in an ambient atmosphere, and attended by friendly, happy to help staff. Well recommended.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthWent to What’s Cooking to celebrate a family members birthday. Mentioned on the booking that it was for an 18th celebration and that the birthday girl has Downes Syndrome and that it was her first time in Liverpool. The team didn’t disappoint and made our trip extra special. All the staff were really friendly and made an effort to make us feel welcome. They then brought out a piece of chocolate cake with a birthday candle/sparkler in it. Couldn’t thank you all enough for your efforts and Emily was so so happy. We’ll definitely be back!
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreJust love the pizzas in this great pub, always has a good vibe where everyone is welcome! We had the laurel and hardy pizza, great flavour with plenty of topping! We also had the west side story cheese and meat platter which we thoroughly enjoyed! Staff are friendly, looking forward to going back for their legendary Scouse .
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentrePerfect and delicious!
Elif Bold Street – Liverpool City CentreFood was delicious as always, drinks very slow though we had to keep asking where are drinks were.
Elif Bold Street – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely fabulous food and service. Our party of 12 all really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. The staff were all very friendly and always asking if we were OK or needed anything throughout.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreWent for my dads 89th birthday and it was brilliant. Great food, atmosphere and staff. They were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. They couldn’t do enough and made it very special for my dad by all singing Happy Birthday. Definitely be back and recommend it.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreA truly hidden gem on the high street, cannot fault this cosy venue, an amazing menu with a wide selection to choose from the service and food were outstanding and really good value for money , highly recommended.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensI booked Christakis for a group of 14 people for my friends Hen Do. She is half Greek Cypriot so thought the party nights would be a great homage to that, and we were not disappointed! I had been called a few days before as there was a mix up with the deposit I had paid but this was sorted on arrival and I had pre-paid for some prosecco for the table which was in buckets when we got there. Other drinks had to be ordered from the bar which was unusual but didn't cause much of a problem. The menu was great, I could have ordered one of everything but the food we had went down a storm! The portions if anything are too big but the food really was delicious. Great choices for the vegetarians, gluten free and vegan in the group. At the end there was a belly dancer who was fantastic and they even got the hen up to partake which she loved! They played the chapel song for the hen too which was great, and at the end of the night we had a good boogie on the dance floor. We had such a good time, I am so glad we booked it and would definitely recommend for a special occasion!
