Food is lovely and tasty and served nicely. Not much atmosphere as we dined early and only two very young members of staff present - peasant and willing but didn’t rovide much information on dishes etc. Restaurant very quiet, no background music even

Last week we invited another couple to join us, and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. They unanimously agreed with our positive remarks about this exceptional restaurant. We have been a regular patron of this establishment for over two decades and have consistently been impressed. Anthony and his team provide an exceptional level of service, and the cuisine is truly remarkable. From the moment you arrive outside and admire the intricate design, you are immediately aware that you have entered a special place. Upon entering, you cross a small bridge over a tranquil pond filled with koi. The interior design is equally pleasing and contributes to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visits to Ma Egertons. The scouse was recommended and we were not disappointed! Really delicious - hot and filling and great value for money. The staff on both visits have been very friendly - full marks all round! We hope to visit again.

Excellent meal in great surroundings, most enjoyable birthday celebration. Three different starters and three different mains all equally appetising on our table. Jim came out to greet us and made a great effort to make our party feel special. Definitely our go to place for dining.

Always great food at Goya and also made to feel welcome and well looked after by the owner and the staff.

Lovely Greek food, friendly service and a fabulous complimentary brownie at the end of the meal to finish it off :) Really nicely decorated and great value for money with good portion sizes!

We waited 20 minutes to be served a drink and given food menus, the starters were great but the mains was seemed rushed as the halloumi wasn’t cooked properly and the meat was quite bland. It seemed short staffed in there.

Wife and I went for a meal, been many times before. As always food was excellent a new waiter hovering to take plates away annoyed me a little. I was happily going to leave a tip until I was asked if I would like to leave a tip. So no I didn't this isn't america you ask for a tip I'm not leaving one . We will be back as it's a great restaurant perhaps I will speak to the manager next time .

I really like this place. It's a bit unfashionable and out of the way but it serves up very competent, locally sourced food in pleasant surroundings and the staff are superbly friendly.

Whenever we eat here it's like stepping into a little bit of Greece with the sun shining, even in winter months!!...The staff are lovely and the food is fabulous...we will always keep coming back.
