We attended last Sunday 6th Oct, with friends. I had booked online, which was essential as very busy. I have been a customer for over 15 years, as family and ideal location to meet girlfriends for a catch up. We had the Sunday 2 course option. The mushroom & Stilton bake was still as good as ever. Two of us ordered the Roast Beef dinner. As different as could be. Sadly my beef was not good, with too much fat on 1 piece and very rare and underdone on the other slice. I pointed out this disappoint with the remnants left on the plate, to our waitress, but no recourse was offered. Our friends enjoyed their meals. I may have just picked the wrong dish but an acknowledgment would have been nice or a free coffee !!!!

We had a lovely lunch at the Rising Moon. Rag pudding with chips and mushy peas. Delicious. Efficient service and lovely staff.

Nice food and friendly staff . A bit cramped though to be honest , sat too close to other diners which makes it uncomfortable

We were visiting from Newcastle and decided to book a table last minute. Lovely food, great service and value, highly recommend.

We have visited this establishment many times and always enjoy an excellent meal, with attentive staff who look after us very well. Highly recommended and we will be back again very soon.

Great meal Saturday night.my daughter had pizza which she enjoyed I had the beef stroganoff which was very good and my wife had the fillet steak which she also enjoyed.great bottle of primitivo red with our meal.will return.

Fab little place, delicious food, lovely friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. Spotless clean , so all in all 10 out of 10, will defo be back.

Food is always amazing at crowded house. We had the mezze starter with the roti bread and hummus/garlic/red peppers. It was delicious. I ordered the lamb chop kebab special and my boyfriend had the gammon. Both were lovely but we couldn’t finish them as the portions were massive! We could have shared the lamb chop kebab between us and still not finished it. Portions could definitely be smaller!

Booked in for last night. We didn’t know the area but the menu looked good. We had a great meal and will definitely return. Really good service, atmosphere and menu. Food was delicious.

Another' lovely family meal freshly cooked

Visited last Saturday to celebrate a Birthday.Great ambience ,service first class from start to finish and the food was excellent. A menu that offered a wide variety of choices. All the staff were so pleasant and more than pleased to help in any way. We have never been disappointed with our meals and will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends. So lucky to have such a venue in Prestwich A great night out Many Thanks to everyone at the restaurant

Good food but long waiting times and prep fir meals was going to order something from rge sweet menu but they forgot to bring the menu so we decided to call it a day then

Hi, Me and my friend visited yesterday with our daughters who both have Down's syndrome. We were celebrating my daughters 21st birthday. The whole experience from beginning to end was perfect. Our waitress was Caroline, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and we did have a couple of special requests which she made sure she attended too. The Restaurant was very busy but she gave us and other customers around us her full attention. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed, we were seated at a nice table with plenty of room for the four of us. The food was delicious, I had the Sunday roast. Caroline told me that the beef is usually cooked pink, I asked for my meat to be well done and compliments to the Chef it was cooked to perfection, everything on the plate was very tasty. Caroline made sure my daughter got a sparkler with her dessert and sang happy Birthday to her, which made her day. All round a very enjoyable experience, will definitely be returning. Great service from start to finish, booked a table of 8 for my sons birthday. The waitress was so lovely forgot her name Lady with the nice pearl headband. She was brilliant even helped with the birthday cake nothing was too much for her and she made the whole experience even better. The food was very yummy everyone at the table really enjoyed there meals. I had the veggie nut roast very tasty. Lovely decor and very chilled atmosphere, will definitely be returning again soon.
