Went to look for Sardar restaurant but found out its been moved to The Palatine Bar & Restaurant and it has to be the worst meal ive ever eaten.I spent £28 on a takeaway and would of been better off eating beans on toast. The chicken madras as soon as i opened it looked liked it had been heated out of a tin.There was no taste at all and just lumps of chicken in a tomato sauce.The nan bread was dry and burnt and the onion bhajis dry and tasteless. Overall a very very bad meal and im more disappointed because ive been to Spice on the same road twice and the foods amazing

Our favourite pub/restaurant for several years. Love the old favourites: especially cod and chips and liver and bacon. Great range of other dishes and sweets. Nice choice of wines and beers. Friendly and efficient service. As usual a nice antidote to a rainy, grey day was a trip to the Rigbye Arms today. Pheasant and wild boar pie and chips...... nice....Tetley's cask .......nice......

Went to Crazy Wendys last night for a birthday doo. It was our first visit. The whole karaoke/singing/ dancing atmosphere was great, but the food was terrible and very expensive for what we got. You could hardly move as it was packed to the square inch with people. We were sat near the door, which was extremely unfortunate in November as it was FREEZING with everybody coming in and out and going for cigerettes.... won't be going back to Wendys....

it is not a good place to eat, the food is greasy, the place is unclean and looks old and desolate. it clearly hasn't been taken care of. The service is also slow compared to other chip shops i have been to. i would rate it 0/5

I ate in here with my girlfriend and some friends couple of weeks ago, food was very good and reasonably priced. Selected from the set menu, good choice for under a tenner!! Not sure i'd go back after seeing the toilets though!!

Excellent food, delicious, and good service, dishes always containing incredibly fresh and top quality produce. Only thing waiting time feel bit more, but well worth a visit. Is one of the most memorable restaurants in Manchester.

I do believe this has been taken over by the same people who have the Shoulder of mutton in holcombe village. The chef and his business partner own both. Both are great pubs to Dine in. Food fab.. Keep it up

Lovely meal last week! Cocktails were fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! Highly recommended.

Myself and my wife visited the Whiteroom on Saturday evening. Fantastic decor, great ambience coupled with splendid food. Service was exceptional. Had an amazing night, the bar was very busy however service was quick. Finally Whitefield is firmly on the map and competing with the south side of Manchester, long may it continue!! Cant wait to go back !

Gotta to admit our Sunday afternoon tea at Zouk was superb,just right,with a lovely 'busyish' atmosphere. 28 quid for the two of us,pompas ,starters ,three mains ,rice and a naan (no bevvy,just water) and it was excellent.Just about, now with all things considered ,decor,ambiance,atmosphere,price,we rate as the best in Manchester,and we try them all. Highly recommended and that makes a change.

I went to San Carlo on Friday evening, with my wife and 2 very good friends. It was extremely busy, but service was still excellent, and the food was amazing. The Tiger Prawn starter, with gorgonzola, coffee and chilli, were stunning. I will definitely be back.

Have just visited this local restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. The staff are extremely welcoming and the service we received was great. The meal we had was wonderful and we have already been again. This restaurant deserves all the praise and is up there with the best restaurants in Manchester. We could not fault it and glad we have found this little gem.

As always, another wonderful evening with a feeling of being in Italy for a few hours thanks to the waiter who served us again and recommended the best of the menu! I have travelled the world but never found such a wonderful and professional man who made me (and my fiends) feel so special! If you read this message and go to San Carlo, ask for Ciro! I visited the white room yesterday- and I have got to say how pleased i am. This is just what Whitefield needed. The decor is modern and luxurious, the atmosphere is great and the people are very friendly. Overall i would recommend this to anyone living in the surrounding area, great day/night out for a drink or something to eat!!! Well done and thank you for putting Whitefield on the map.
