I am going to be very careful here,because this little place has tremendous potential. The Sindhoor has a varied different interesting south Indian menu,and our starters were superb,but the service needs to be improved 100% and serving chicken drumsticks in the chicken byriyani is somewhat unusual and not enjoyable. But will try again soon and hopefully they will get there act together,this is not criticism,its friendly advice,because this place could be one of Manchester's great additions to the Asian scene.

I was looking for somewhere to fulfill my need for spice that also looked after the tame veggie! Mission accomplished! We were accompanied down Oldham Street by riot police (that's another story though) and had to ring the bell to get in. That was the easy bit of the evening - deciding on what to eat really perplexed me - it all sounded so good on the menu. Although it was Saturday night, we were early & managed to get a £12.95 deal for starter, main course and accompaniment. We were a party of five, but all managed to find something different, which is a good sign on a limited fixed choice menu. Yup, even tame veggie. The food was delicious, spicy and subtle at the same time. I had a Nyonya lime curry with chicken... oh no, my mouth's watering again at the memory. Only one of us managed a dessert which was an amazing looking green thing with ice cream. It definitely tasted better than it looked! There's a small but interesting selection of wines & beers, including Hanoi & Beer Lao. That was our first visit, but not the last.

what shall i say about this marvelous restaurant it has the best service out of all of Manchester I highly recommend it!!

We went to celebrate my wifes 40th birthday to Zouk last saturday and what can i say about this place?! Starters delicious, main course fabulous, pudding out of this world, service excellent.... Definitely the best Indian I've ever been to!!!!!

This is a fab restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is very good and the ambience is also good. You always get a really warm welcome. Highly recommended.

Simply fantastic. We have been in Japanese restaurants all over south and north America, and this one is the best we ever been. Very traditional environment excellent food, fantastic sashimi freshness and flavor.

Best restaurant in Bradford by far tried others like Akbar's , Nawaab, Aagrah and etc, but nothing can be compared to Zouk's great service, excellent food and fantastic atmosphere. Can't wait to visit it again!!

I went to la roma on a quiet Monday evening for my nans 85th birthday and the staff were amazing. They found out about the birthday and couldn't do enough for us. We took a cake with us which they kindly concealed until the end of the meal when they brought it out singing happy birthday. My nan was made up by all the fuss which in turn made my night, not to mention the great food and a very reasonable bill at the end. An amazing night had by all! Thank you.

A wonderful friendly Italian restaurant in a great location. The food is fantastic and great value. Kids are welcome and well looked after. Once you visit, you will keep on going back.

Ate at Room on Monday night and had the excellent crisp pork belly with 2 hand dived scallops. Great cocktails too, excellent in all departments

Went on the off chance on Saturday as out for a night on Canal St. What a FAB restaurant! The service was a little slow but the food was certainly worth the wait. Nice unpretentious atmosphere and the best risotto I've ever eaten. Very reasonable prices too. Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone

I have visited the The Owls At Standish by invitation to 2 larger parties, on 2 occasions, it is lovely and clean, the food is excellent and hot, the surrounding area is beautiful, there is plenty of space in the restaurant, there's no rush, the staff are friendly and helpful, I have recently booked it again for 6 people in October The prices are very reasonable, and its certainly the sort of eating out venue to put top of your list, I certainly will. There is a very good selection on the menu for all requirements. The management is very well organised and accurate.

First class food ,first class surroundings, first class staff,this is the best thai restaurant in the area bar none

I've just endured about a quarter of a King Prawn Jalfrezi from this takeaway. To say that this was the worst Indian meal I've had is an understatement. The taste of the food is hard to describe because it didn't actually have any taste at all. It was complete mush. The only thing I could taste was the curry powder that had been added in an attempt, presumably, to give this dish some life. The 'King Prawns' they used resembled chicken nuggets with the batter removed and tasted of nothing. How the chef's have managed to take a prawn and remove all of the taste is beyond me, but they did it. Well done. The best thing about the takeaway was the free beer and wine. Perhaps this is why people keep going back? It certainly can't be for the food, it's rubbish. This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time wasn't any good, but any restaurant can have an off day. Clearly, though, this is the norm at Bilash. There are much better Indian restaurants only a few miles away that, admittedly, charge a little bit more and don't give free beer away, but offer food that's a quantum leap over this drivel.

J W Lees' dining pub of the year. Unusual food at very reasonable prices, standards always very high. Service friendly and attentive, but not overly so. We had a wonderful family celebration here. Nothing was too much trouble Well kept Lees beer on handpump.
