It was our first visit and we enjoyed an excellent lunch, sitting outside in the breeze. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had a bouillabaisse and half lobster with generous portions. The chilled slightly frizzante Italian red was perfect on a summer’s day. The service was sublime - so relaxed and the staff were very accommodating when we asked to sit outside.

The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeMy niece and i went to celebrate our birthdays (2 days apart) The weather was so hot but they had made great efforts to keep the restaurant as cool as possible. We were tempted by the specials but ended up sharing the scallops and the crab and watermelon starters which were both delicious. We both had the monkfish which was beautifully cooked with vegetables and potatoes. The sauce was delicate and enhanced but did not overpower the monkfish. We were full but couldn't resist sharing the almond tart with caramelised apple. So light. The perfect end to a delightful meal. The staff were so helpful and efficient despite the overwhelming heat in the kitchen.

We sat outside under the shade and well protected from the early evening heat. All of the girls that attended to us were welcoming, friendly and very efficient.We had a variety of different dishes - all excellent and delicious. The Globe has a lovely atmosphere and ambience and we’ll definitely dine there again.

The Denbigh – BexhillWe had1 Burger and 1 Hook and Cook Burger was good, Fish was Seabream fillet which for price was very small portion. Then had dessert of Strawberry Eton Mess which was just a lump of whipped cream with 6 pieces of strawberries and a small scattering of meringue so quite disappointing for the price
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe've been to this fantastic place a few times since 2021 and it never disappoints. We had starters from the a la carte, mains from the specials. The waitress advised that the sea bream is better partnered with salad than chips and i'm so glad she did. Hubby had the paella which was more seafood and meat than rice. We decided to have a rare night out just the 2 of us when our friends had to cancel - I'm so glad we did. Into the Blue is in the top 5 of my favourite places to eat and as a pescatarian that's saying something! We will be back soon. PS the Sicilian organic white was perfect too.

Fantastic quality and range of choice keeping that delicate balance between classics done well and innovation if you want it. We've already been back and this is now our Fishy home
