As always the food was excellent. Been many times and can never fault the food. The service was a little slow on this occasion but I thinks it's a "one off".

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaA great place to meet up and enjoy quality food, drinks and service.
Pissarro’s – HastingsGreat night at Pisarros. Open mic session very good. Good mix of instruments and singing. Food excellent. Most enjoyable!!
Pissarro’s – HastingsDelicious Sunday roast. Never disappoints, perfectly cooked chicken, great accompanying veggies, must recommend cauliflower cheese, service excellent, great atmosphere - can’t wait to return. Thank you to ALL the staff.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeFantastic Sunday lunch, very tasty and great portions. We had a great time as pub is very friendly.
The Seadog – HastingsVisited on a Sunday morning with 3 other friends for a late breakfast/brunch. Service was brilliant, breakfast - I had poached eggs and smoke salmon on toast was delicious… although also jealous of one of my friends who had the chocolate pancakes! Coffee tastes like coffee. Would thoroughly recommend.
Hartfields – UckfieldWe were a party of 7, looking for a dog-friendly pub for Sunday lunch, away from home, and what a find this was! We loved everything about our experience - the location the decor, the quirky and uniqueness of the bar/restaurant, the great menu - not too big, but sufficient variety and choice, and the exceptional service. Would definitely recommend and look forward to another visit
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe had lunch and although quiet it was a nice atmosphere. Staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful. The Menu is mains based, not too big with a good choice. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. We very much liked place and had a good experience.
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughThe food was delicious and the potions were generous, the decor was quirky and the staff were very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be visiting again.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeBooked spur of the moment, food was excellent, oriental mushroom starter was delicious, my husband’s cod was very good with stir fried veg and steamed. Best red velvet cheesecake ever! The young lady that served us had excellent customer service skills, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend, this place, you won’t be disappointed.
Pissarro’s – HastingsVisited at weekend with my kids. Not be to Hartfield’s for a while. I had the breakfast hash and was seriously disappointed. Mainly potato, over cooked and soggy veg and hardly sausages with it. The kids chicken nuggets and chips over cooked. Bacon over cooked and possibly microwaved. Made a comment to staff and was told it’ll be 45mins. We couldn’t wait. So wasted food. Gone down hill big time. Won’t be coming here again
Hartfields – UckfieldExcellent Sunday lunch for nine people and great relaxed service from the staff. Look forward to coming back soon
Pissarro’s – HastingsLovely food. Huge burger. A great atmosphere.
The Denbigh – BexhillThe staff were welcoming and friendly. Both staff were polite and attentive. Food and service was good. Thoroughly enjoyed it
The Denbigh – BexhillFrom the moment we were greeted at the door on our arrival we knew it was going to be a good experience. Wonderful atmosphere, lots of happy faces and wonderful aromas from the food being prepared. The menu was very exciting and it took a while for us to make our choices. The service was very quick, the food looked amazing and we enjoyed every tasty mouthful. We both opted for dishes that had a Far Eastern twist. We were not disappointed. Some amazing flavours and beautifully cooked food. It was also apparent that it wasn’t just visitors to the area eating there but local people too. Always a good sign! If we find ourselves back in Sussex in the future we will definitely return Thank you for a very special lunch. One for the memory bank.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe ate here as three generations of the family. The grandchildren loved the cheesy tacos, the squid and mussels. The adults were impressed by both the presentation and flavours of the lobster, the monkfish and the halibut. And on top of that, those of us who had a piece of cavolo nero were treated to something very special! The staff were very friendly and helpful - we aim to return and try the bouillabaisse as soon as possible .
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a lovely place . We were a group of 8 on a busy Sunday . Had excellent service and such a nice meal. Sunday roast was glorious. We were well looked after . Highly recommended for a fabulous meal and service
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeYou guys looked after us so well on my mother’s birthday this Sunday. The outside dining area was perfect for our party containing excitable little ones. Exceeded my expectations. Some of the reviews on other platforms are nonsense. Thank you to your cracking brigade of staff.
