First class food, service and ambience. As always, a great place to come.

We hadn't visited in a while but, as usual, the food was exceptional as was the service. thank you - great meal on what was a busy Friday evening.

Never disappointed when I come here. Always made to feel welcome, delicious food all beautifully cooked. The Asian style sea bass was yummy. Took some girlfriends with me for their first time. They were a little dubious looking from the outside, as it doesn't look much but both were really impressed with the food & will definitely return Would highly recommend.

We were delighted to return to the Globe on our visit to Rye. As usual, we enjoyed delicious food, a varied menu, served by friendly and attentive staff. This time, we ate outdoors, which was lovely.

A wonderful lunch! Beautiful food, great service. We have recently moved to Shoreham Beach and had another lovely meal in April. We are very lucky to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep!

This restaurant always delivers an excellent meal

This was our second time visiting Into The Blue. Delicious food but sadly slightly grumpy service this time around.

We have been coming here for a number of years for steak night, which has always been good, used to get a bottle of wine with it but now only get a glass each, which is ok and quite understandable, however I was not impressed with having a glass of red wine which had been sitting on the shelf far to long and had gone slightly brown with sediment in, the steak was also full of gristle, bit disappointed this time around and will probably be our last visit

Such a lovely bday meal. Food was delicious - so fresh and a wonderful, intimate vibe.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue than the Globe Inn for our wedding reception. As we were having a small wedding, we wanted somewhere private, intimate, and full of character—and The Hobbyist was absolutely perfect. The private terrace was a bonus. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted. They were incredibly accommodating with our group of 20, carefully arranging the room according to our table plan and thoughtfully setting aside tables for our wedding cake and guest book. It made decorating the space ourselves so easy, and everything looked wonderful. The evening exceeded all of our expectations. It was everything we had dreamed our wedding reception would be, and that was thanks in no small part to the incredible staff. Every single member of the front- and back-of-house team was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, and they looked after us and all of our guests so brilliantly throughout the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding. Between us, we managed to sample almost the entire menu, and every dish was delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how fantastic the food was, and there were so many compliments on both the quality of the meal and the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant. We are so grateful to everyone for making our wedding reception such a memorable and truly perfect evening. We wholeheartedly recommend the Globe to anyone planning a special celebration or simply looking for an exceptional meal in a wonderful setting. Thank you all so much for helping to make one of the most important days of our lives so incredibly special - we can't wait to come back!

Everyone enjoys The Globe including the people that work there . Great atmosphere with good choice of beers and well prepared food- had a whole squid which made a change from the usual calamari “out of the freezer rings “ that most pubs serve up Favourite place for celebration lunches … or anytime we are in Rye . Will be back asap , thanks to all .

I love The Seadog. It's probably my favorite pub in Hastings. There aren't many left like this. It has a super cosy vibe, great atmosphere and good selection of drinks. The new food menu is absolutely delicious too. I loved food previously but I think this is even better. I will definitely be going back to try more on the menu.

We booked a meal for Saturday night on the recommendation from our BnB hosts. The atmosphere in the pub was convivial. The decorations quirky but colourful and welcoming. The service was exemplary - with a special mention to Martha who just smiled and laughed joyously throughout her shift. She seemed to love her job and could not have been more helpful or attentive. The food was really good value and delicious. My partner had the fishcake (she rated it highly) and I had a really excellent homemade burger . The guest draft pale ale was delicious. Highly recommend this joyous pub to anyone visiting Rye.
