The Denbigh – BexhillWonderful fresh fish. Inspired menu, not your run of the mill, spoilt for choice and the salt and pepper squid I think I could’ve eaten all day! Will definitely bet back for a third visit.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent food and service. Thoroughly recommended.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a lovely meal here. The service was really friendly the food was great and good value.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent meal. All dishes tasted delicious. Great service. Great value. Went back a second time.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThe good: Nice decor, interesting music, dog friendly & interesting choice of beers. The bad Service was very slow despite it not seemingly being all that busy, ordered more drinks and they came as we finished our meals and the burgers and chips were very clearly frozen so poor value for £18. Would recommend for a drink but not for food.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeParty of six old workmates had lunch in Pissarro's yesterday. It's a lovely relaxed meeting place and we go quite often. Staff are really friendly and attentive, the food is very good. Soup of the day was excellent. It's also great value for money. No complaints from us.
Pissarro’s – HastingsWhat a delightful pub! Packed with quirky corners and interesting pictures and decorations items it’s a lovely place to stop for lunch and a pint. Our food was delicious and we all enjoyed our choices of fish pie, burger and excellent chips, local roast lamb and mac and cheese. All with charming friendly service.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe Globe is our firm favourite to round out a visit to Rye and the beach at Camber; dogs are welcome, the quirky decor, vibe and outdoor area (in summer) make this a welcoming venue. Good beer, reliable menu. Parking can be tricky so park in town and walk at busy times.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeGreat food. We had the two course menu. Lightly battered squid and creamy mussels . Then chose a dessert as the food was so good. It didn’t disappoint with an almond an apple tart . Definitely going again.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent fish pie with very attentive and friendly service!
The Denbigh – BexhillFantastic as always.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely food, vary attentive service and excellent coffee!
Hartfields – UckfieldSo glad we booked a table, food and drinks were fabulous, staff attentive and decor is quirky.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeStaff lovely, food fantastic, can’t fault it, thank you Hartfields Team!
Hartfields – UckfieldMusic was outstanding. Food was shocking. You shouldn’t have to ask for salt and pepper. We were not offered any condiments ie, apple sauce, mint sauce or horseradish. Pork belly inedible, wouldn’t have fed to my dog. My husband couldn’t eat and staff handled very unprofessionally. Did offer more meat but the moment had passed. Cauliflower Cheese was cheese with cauliflower. We were not the only people who did not enjoy their food. We were not offered dessert? Happy to take the money even though we hadn’t eaten and complained. We didn’t go out for a free meal though! Extremely disappointed has the potential but did not tick any of the boxes today except for the music,
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughWe enjoyed a lovely easter Sunday family brunch. Great choice and variety of dishes, all delicious and beautifully presented. Staff friendly and attentive. A lovely café.
