Birthday gathering of nine, and total unanimity on the quality of the food, ranging from excellent to outstandingly excellent. And some unexpected items too. Pork bites for the starter were superb, and not an option I've seen elsewhere. Thai-style sea bass was even better. Topped off with a (rare) dairy-free dessert option that was better than the stuff with cream! Also, live music filtering in from the main bar was great atmosphere.

Lovely steak meal as always. Ribeye steak with delicious sides. Staff friendly and efficient.

Great place and good food …reasonably priced

Great lunch on Tuesday with friends from New Zealand. They arrived early and put their drinks on my tab which I was delighted about. Quiet day but staff attentive and good very good. It's good to know there is somewhere reliable in the area in E. Sussex/ Kent border.

We had an amazing Sunday Roast at Pissarro's - a very good size portion, lovely meat and veg - and the service was great, too! Would definitely recommend, and will be going back!

A beautiful, warm pub. Exemplary pub food - we recommend the catch of the day with extra greens. Everything is top quality. We went with our 2 dogs and the staff were so warm, inclusive and welcoming. We loved it so much we booked immediately for the following evening. In total our family enjoyed the following over two nights; burgers, steak, lamb, catch of the day and salad.

Lovely atmosphere, highly efficient & friendly team, delicious roast! I was designated driver but I’m told the rosé was delicious too!!

We all love The Globe. Warm and friendly service. Great for kids and usually space as not all table are reservable.

Lovely Sunday lunch with some mouth watering specials .

We ate there on a Saturday evening. Lovely atmosphere and great friendly service. The menu consisted of Sardinian dishes and what we had was delicious. Not cheap but very relaxed and attentive service with great food and so made it feel value for money.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch. We will be back and bring other friends along too. Thank you.
