We ate here for the first time this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were a little uncertain looking at the restaurant from outside, but once in, it was lovely! The atmosphere was great with music playing and an open kitchen where the chefs just seemed to know what their roles were and seemed happy. Starters were ok, but our main courses were delicious ( seafood linguine and steak and prawns) and the wine was good. Our waitress Debbie needs a shout out as she ran the floor and was so polite and friendly. We will definitely return.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaVery enjoyable lunch, attentive service with a relaxed and informal setting.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent food! Lovely atmosphere.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeDelicious breakfast and good value, really enjoyed it!
Macklins at The Riverside – PulboroughAbsolutely love this place, I’ve been here many times and the food is always excellent and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. There is always a great choice of dishes, something for even the most discerning palate. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back again. Thank you.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThe atmosphere was nice and very welcoming . Tables and seating were very spacious which definitely made dining a relaxed experience . The only negative was a rather odd miscommunication about the food , I was told very clearly that a smaller player could be served as a main dish - my guest clearly heard this as well yet when it was served it was a small plate. I was then told no such changes could be made so I had a starter as a main course - less than desirable . I anticipated maybe a free drink for the inconvenience but it was treated like my mistake when it really wasn’t . The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good but I might think twice before returning .
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeFabulous food and lovely, friendly atmosphere. Staff really helpful and we didn’t feel rushed. Crab and lobster were both delicious.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had one of the best Sunday lunches we’d had in a long time! Great service, great food and fab atmosphere!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeVery enjoyable Sunday lunch at a brilliant pub. Decor, food, prices all great. Highly recommend
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely food and plenty of it served by very friendly staff. Highly recommend the Sunday Roast.
The Denbigh – BexhillA fish lovers dream restaurant, brilliant service, super food looking forward to going back to try the Sea bass.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaInto the blue never disappoints. The service is great, drinks lovely and food delicious. The only negative is I can't try everything on the menu!!! I ate surf and turf, the ribeye was cooked to perfection the prawns so moist and succulent. My son and husband had burger and half a lobster which they said was amazing. The starters were lush too.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAnother superb meal at Ancient Grains; as always, consistent and never to be disappointed. Somewhat of a great achievement for Carla and Davide. Many congratulations!
Ancient Grains – EastbourneMy wife and I were looking for a different experience in the food line. We certainly found it with Ancient Grains. The first time we went, we had sea bass which needs careful cooking. It was superb! Because the meal was so good, we went back and tried their Sunday roast. That meal was also beautifully cooked. Davide the chef certainly knows his stuff. It's a 10/10 for me.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneTook a party of 17 to the Globe which involved pre-ordering. Food was enjoyed by everyone, the service enthusiastic and the atmosphere in the upstairs room friendly and quite quirky, like the rest of the Globe.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe turned up just to be told that there was a party going on and they are not doing food only what's being served outside (pizza) so was disappointed as we had this booked for 2 weeks for my wife's birthday and then couldn't get any food so we had to change plans last minute
