Fabulous in all ways! Lovely staff, enjoyed a very nice Viognier with our delicious seafood. The whole experience was great and will be back. Would recommend booking, which thankfully we did, as it was very busy, even at the start of February!

The decor, quiet background music and welcoming, helpful staff all went to creating a soft, intimate atmosphere in which to savour the very good food.

The Copper Pot – CardiganWe had a table for three for the New Years Eve meal at 8pm in the Cellar Bar We had our table next to a window and it was a bit draughty until we pulled blind down One vegetarian amongst us - we all enjoyed the meal with the small taster courses Staff were jolly and helpful and service prompt Our GSP Lyra settled on a bed under our table which was a big bonus for us We thought the experience was very good and would not hesitate to do it again
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportI would NOT recommend this place, we stayed one night in the dog friendly room number 7, for my husband’s birthday, its was dirty, cobwebs all around the ceiling, the windows were single glazed and there was a cold draft coming in and in the night we were so cold our ears were ice cold, it was extremely noisy due to the single glazed windows you could hear the other guests coming and going which was not great when you have a dog with you… They left bathrobes in the bathroom that were not washed, they had holes in them and lots of dirty marks and smelt awful, the bathroom and room smelt of damp…we paid £155 for the room per night and it was the most awful place we have ever stayed in… we then had dinner in the evening and we had sourdough bread for starters with miso butter and the bread was black and burnt… my husband complained and the waiter said it’s just heavily toasted, I tried it and it just tasted like burnt toast we then took it back they brought our another lot out and it wasn’t much better we ate around the burnt bits there was so much waste… our mains later on came out and that was much better.. however we asked for a bottle of water that didn’t even come out… there was one server and we felt we were ignored. We didn’t sleep at all as we were so cold in the room… when we checked out in the morning we said mentioned this to the lady and she didn’t really do anything she just said she will make a note… I felt so bad for my husband as it was his birthday treat, the ignorance from the staff were appalling and the accommodation was a disgraceful. We are very disappointed and would never recommend this place.
