Love coming to Pettigrews for afternoon tea. Fantastic selection, great quality and good value. Cannot wait for our next visit. Ps) next Christmas please have some non-alcoholic Prosecco (nosecco) as nit everyone ones or drinks alcohol

Great food. Excellent service & beautiful Christmas decorations.

We had a lovely lunch for our Christmas party. The food was excellent and so too was the service. The website and booking system are in urgent need of work as they made the booking process unnecessarily long and complicated. You are probably losing customers who abandon the process after being told by the system that there are no slots available even though you are far from fully booked.

My boyfriend and I visited for our two year anniversary after reading good reviews. We contacted the tea rooms prior to visiting to see if we could change the sandwich option and they were very highly accommodating as the chef makes the sandwiches fresh - can remove and add anything to the sandwiches. The food was delicious! We ordered the chicken and stuffing, ham and roasted veg sandwiches. It also consisted of two scones (cranberry and white chocolate for my boyfriend and a plain one for me), two gingerbread men, chocolate fudge and two mini mince pies. We were both stuffed and still had a cake slice each to choose from the counter!! We were able to get more hot water for our two pots of tea which is great for a cold day ☺️ The waiter was very friendly and polite - explained the menu very well and was happy to answer any questions. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Cardiff for the day.

Festive Afternoon Tea was superb and by far the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything from the service, the choice of sandwiches to the freshness and quality was incredible. I only recently discovered this little gem of a restaurant after fancying a change from the usual weekend take out. Since ordering one time, seeing how many vegan and gluten free options there are and how incredibly delicious everything was it has instantly become my favourite place to eat. So much so that the month after my first order, I had my birthday dinner at this restaurant. I can’t express how good the food is here, the restaurant was quiet and beautiful decorated. Really a hidden gem in Cardiff. Also a brilliant delivery service on JustEat. Expect to spend about £30 for two course… worth every single penny, I promise.

I was sent a Xmas menu which my friend and I booked . The 3 courses were very enjoyable . Chicken satay to start . I opted for prawn green curry and my friend had the Malaysian beef curry . Both mains were very nice . We have been before to the Happy Lok and the food is always very good. Will be back

Honestly think this is the best Sunday lunch out of all of them around Cardigan. Particularly good with allergies. I can’t eat gluten and instead of having to miss out (which I usually do) they made GF Yorkshire and cauliflower cheese. Excellent service. Really tasty meal!!

We had a lovely evening meal at the Sailors Safety. The food was delicious. The mussels were amazing as was the lobster. Really nice ambience on a wet and windy night outside. Thanks Nick, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a really nice meal here, a veggie chilli and a falafel and halloumi burger, with onion rings. There aren't many vegan options, but there are things which can be made vegan with one small change. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the service was excellent and it's a nice comfortable space. The onion rings were epic! Sadly we weren't able to enjoy the dessert or cocktail menus due to time constraints, but would visit again and can hopefully try them then! X

OMG the food - AMAZING ! Went with a couple of friends and we all ordered something different, and every single plate was delicious. Red Thai curry, the best we have ever had. GREAT FOR VEGETARIANS/VEGANS - we get our own menu with so much choice, felt spoilt. Every plate fresh and authentic. The couple who run it are so lovely too, you will have a friendly welcome and excellent service, 5 ***** all round xx

We had a lovely meal at the copper pot. The cocktails were great. Really good gluten free options. Nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
