This restaurant is absolutely brilliant for a quality and relaxed meal out. It is clear the staff have a passion for customer care as well and operate well together. Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonVisited Mere Court Hotel with my husband yesterday (10/5/24) and this is our first ever visit and definitely wont be the last. First impressions didnt disappoint, the hotel and grounds are immaculate, and it was very easy to park. We were greeted at reception by 2 members of staff who were both pleasant and polite, we were shown to our table which was in a small area, very cosy, and immaculate overlooking the grounds. We had Traditional Afternoon Tea which was lovely and plentiful for 2 people, the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. Afterwards we had a walk around the gardens and lake which was stunning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice drive out on a sunny day for afternoon tea.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldHad a lovely meal at La Capella, though we sat outside & not in the restaurant as it was such a lovely evening. Ordered 3 small plates each - which was just about right for a hungry person but 2 would have suited me better as the portions were more generous than we were expecting. Good beer on tap too - The Coach house mild! Managed to book last minute on Friday night which was nice.

Pacino’s – ChesterAnother first class meal hugely enjoyed by my guests and I in a delightful setting last Friday lunchtime. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This is the second time I’ve eaten at The Plough in recent weeks, and both meals have been outstanding. Prices are below the norm, yet the quality of the food and the service are second to none. I am always cautious about making recommendations, but I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending The Plough at Whitegate. You will not be disappointed!

White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamI have been to the Alvanley a number of times for evening meals but this was my first Sunday lunch there. I think I can safely say that in my 76 years I have never had a better Sunday lunch in a restaurant anywhere
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyTwo of us and we both had fish, peas, skinny fries - small size. The fish was OK. Have had much nicer mushy peas at other places, yours were not tasty. We both has skinny fries - on one plate they looked fine on my plate some looked like they were from the bottom of the fryer very small and bitty. Not a meal to encourage a return visit.

Alvanley Arms – TarporleyAn excellent lunch - the staff were very helpful and friendly. The service was very good. The choice of dishes on the menu was excellent and the food lived up to expectations. An added bonus was the views of the gardens - the Rhododendron were in full bloom.

The food for all courses was absolutely delicious, and the service was very friendly and professional. An excellent place for wonderful food.
Pacino’s – ChesterCame her with my partner when we were looking for a pasta fix! My partners grandparents were Italian and she said it felt like visiting them, a real home from home experience. Food was outstanding and great value for money. Nothing was too much to ask for and didn’t feel rushed at all. Definitely coming back but with more people!!!
