Everything about our meal was amazing, excellent food service and atmosphere. Will be back

We went for a meal before walking round the lake and I’m glad we stopped by. The food was really tasty, not too fussy but everything was cooked well and we had a good time. The service was great too.

Superb as always

Our food took ages to come. It was pointed out to us that they were short-staffed as they “didn’t expect to be busy”. However they did give us a free round of drinks to compensate., and the staff were very polite and friendly. Very loud music which made everyone shout to have a conversation at the table.

The whole restaurant is simply fantastic. The food is out of this whole and truly authentic. This is a repeat visit and we will come back time and time again and this is perfect. As another bonus the staff go above and beyond and are so welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

I thought the food was excellent. I had fish and it was cooked so well and the choice that put with it was delicious. We also highly rated the service and surroundings and l look forward to going back soon

My husband and I attended for an Afternoon tea courtesy of a Groupon Offer... The room was beautiful... The female waitress couldn't do enough for us... The food was excellent... Very fresh and lots of it... It was our wedding anniversary treat and it was excellent... The grounds were well maintained... It was a fabulous day... Thanks for making it a *Special and Memorable Day"...

We had a delicious dinner last Tuesday at Baccus. Service very professional and helpful. We shall certainly return.

We went on a Friday evening for my husbands birthday and had a fantastic evening. The food, service and atmosphere were all really good. Special thanks to the staff - everybody was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We sat in the outside/inside space and it was really lovely. We would definitely recommend.

Although we have been to an evening wedding reception in the past last Monday was the first time that we had been for afternoon tea. We were not disappointed and enjoyed an excellent selection of sandwiches, cakes and the homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were to die for and we asked the staff to mention this to the kitchen staff. We will definitely be back again and being only 10 minutes away from a restaurant in such a lovely setting is a bonus.

Simply superb. Fabulous food and great surroundings. Staff amazing, not fussy but knew when to approach. Really cannot fault. Very reasonable price for the quality on offer.

Absolutely brilliant place with beautiful grounds. Been for afternoon tea 3 or 4 times and never been disappointed. Will definitely be going again, the staff are friendly and service excellent. A visit is highly recommended.

Had a lovely Sunday roast, all home cooked. Staff were so friendly and helpful, one of our party was in a wheel chair and they sent us a video prior to arriving to show the entrance to check she would be able to manage it. Also got lost in the forest walking enroute to the pub ask we arrived an hour late, after a couple of phone calls the staff were very accommodating holding our table for us. Would recommend and definoteturn again when we are next camping in the forest. Thanks

Four of us all had lunch yesterday. The whole experience was excellent from the service to all of the food. I would highly recommend it.

Great restaurant, delicious food, staff really friendly and attentive.

Beautiful country pub. Large beer garden area. Friendly, helpful and accomodating staff. Menu had a good range of meals at mid range price. Food was tasty and good portions. Maybe a little more table service attention in the lounge needed, but I'm just being picky. Highly recommend going for a meal or just a nice glass of wine, pint of beer or coffee. Thank you for a returning welcome.

As usual the Service and Food was excellent. Definitely our favourite place to go for a Curry.
