Great service and food as usual !

We had a get together here in memory of my late Dad who was brought up in Astbury Marsh around 90 years ago. We had a buffet which was delicious & the waiting on girls were lovely too.

This is my second visit to Panama Hattys and was very impressed again. Food was delicious, the sharing platter start was amazing. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly and the salt and pepper seasoning is fantastic. Mains were very good, steak was cooked perfectly and ribs were tender. Expensive but worth it.

Delicious meal at Salt Bar as always. Highly recommend the Gin Garden cocktail and new dessert lemon posset.

Had afternoon on a lovely sunny Friday afternoon. We were seated by a young waiter who asked if we wanted tea or coffee. It’s wasn’t until he went that we helped ourself to the menu on the table which have us different tea options to choose from. We were not offered any water or other drinks which I found odd. We then received our afternoon tea and the sandwiches were lovely. The scones and cream however were awful. You’d expect some lovely clotted cream. What we got I described as looking like vanilla icecream and it tasted so sour. I didn’t risk eating it as I’m pregnant. My husband searched the venue for a member of staff and resorted to asking reception. The young waiter came back and we explained our concerns re- the sour cream. He sent it back to the kitchen and came back with fresh cream and said the chef had taste me it and it was fine. Freshly made this morning using vanilla. Maybe we just don’t have very good taste buds but again it was sour. We then never saw a member of staff again until we left and spoke to the receptionist.

Cibo sopraffino e vera carbonara romana! Carbonara n 49 is an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Chester and chef Massimiliano is an amazing ambassador of the Italian cuisine in the UK. Me and my husband are both Italian and I lived in Rome many years before moving in the UK, so my standards are very high! The staff didn’t disappoint and it was amazing to have a beautiful meal there. We’ll come back with friends! Thank you!

An Italian restaurant that is authentic and very good quality. Chester is blessed with a number of independent restaurants, especially Italian, and Carbonara is excellent. We haven't been to all of the others because we keep coming back here.

The venue and the staff were excellent. The food was good but on this occasion found it average. The food has always stood out at this venue but we all felt that where other venues have raised the bar with its food this venue had stayed the same. We also felt the prices were a bit steep for what we got. Would go there again But they need to up there game!!

The service, food, and atmosphere at Bacchus are all outstanding. I can’t rate it highly enough!

We recieved a warm welcome and we’re very well looked after. The food was delicious and an amazing ambiance.

Loved the new menu. Always good food and service, and of course a delightful position on a beautiful day. Our regular stop and never lets us down. Please consider bringing the kit kat sundae back. : )

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Friendly staff on reception. Nice relaxing venue. The only thing that would have been nice if we had been asked if we would like any more to drink. Once we sat down and we were served the afternoon tea we didn't see any waiting staff again. It would be nice if a member of staff came to see if everything is OK and to ask if you would like anymore drinks.

We went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. The food was excellent and so was the service. Our waiter was very friendly. Would definitely recommend
