First visit for dinner on Friday. We are aware the restaurant has been there for many years and it was pleasantly busy when we visited which speaks volumes. The menu is varied and everything we ate was nicely cooked and presented. Prices are very reasonable for this standard of restaurant. Service was excellent, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I can see why this restaurant has been a success and we would certainly recommend and will revisit. Two suggestions. Firstly we felt the service was a little too hasty. An extra 10 mins between courses might have been nice. Secondly we felt that it would be nice to have the option to have champagne by the glass. Had that been available we would certainly had one as a first drink but wouldn’t really want a whole bottle.

Great food - great service- wonderful atmosphere

Our evening was perfect. The food and cocktails were excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress kindly bought out a chocolate brownie with a celebration sparkler on it - finished the evening off perfectly. These little extras make a venue stand out and we will definitely be returning.

My wife and I came to Mere Court for afternoon tea on Friday 8th August. This was to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. We were greeted warmly and shown into the dining room . Our afternoon tea was very nice in a relaxed environment. The whole experience was most enjoyable Many thanks to Peter and the team.

Exceptional service, setting and food. The Mere Court team are excellent from ease of booking for my mum’s 90th birthday celebration, to the attentive service and the delicious food. Every aspect of the event was delightful and my mum thoroughly enjoyed her special day. Huge thanks to the team for making this a day to remember.

Food and service was amazing

First visit yesterday. Lovely restaurant with a pleasing ambience even though restaurant was quiet. Staff were lovely, helpful and professional. Food was good and well presented. Very good value. Loved the fact petit fours were included with coffee - that doesn’t happen often. Enjoyed it so much going back next week.

Great choices on menu with something for everyone. Food delicious. Plenty of it and cooked really well. Excellent wine. Great prices. Service a little slow but we weren’t in a rush so it didn’t matter. Decor dated but clean. Restaurant doesn’t look anything on the outside but well worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely go back.

We had a fantastic meal at Pacino's last night. I had not been for a while and my parents had never been before. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

On Sunday 11 of my family came to alvanley arms for Sunday lunch .. It was beautiful the food was hot .staff where very good friendly. Kitchen staff who brought out the meals did an amazing job we all ate together well done .. We will return very soon Thank you
