First time I have been and was very impressed with the quality of the food Atmosphere was very pleasant not sat on top of each other. Staff pleasant. Enjoyed the evening will definately go again.

It is always delightful to visit this hidden gem. All the years we have been coming here, we have never been disappointed. Great food with an authentic Italian taste and plenty of choice. All priced very fairly. All served by helpful attentive staff.

A fantastic dining experience. The food and service is always 5*. The great team at Bacchus always make it very special. It's great value for money and there is a great choice on the wine list at reasonable prices. Never had a bad experience ever! Thank you Mike and team!

We met some friends and my goddaughter for lunch on BH Monday. Good choice on menu and great food, lovely setting with decking by the lake, although we chose to sit inside. Exceptional staff - who really looked after us and joined in the banter. Thanks

Back again for a excellent Sunday roast food was very good as always plenty on the plate staff very friendly and service very good. WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN.

Great food, but the whole place feels tired, unloved and is a bit grubby. For example, the stair carpet on the way up to the restaurant was really dirty when I visited. Also, I'd expect a cocktail bar to be well stocked, but they only had 3 gins, and o coconut milk so they couldn't make a pina colada! The staff are really young and cheerful, but I feel like the whole place needs someone more experienced to review the surroundings, and what they offer and bring it up to a a better standard to attract more customers. It was almost empty when I visited - Saturday night.

Booked afternoon tea via Groupon Had to change the date and time not a problem when me and my friend did attend it was really well organised, staff were really attentive and helpful Food was lovely Definately recommend

We love this place and as expected we thoroughly enjoyed dinner here a couple of nights ago. The food and wine are always extremely good. The service is excellent with an ambience to match.

Great decor, nice atmosphere. Love the stencilled chairs and tables. Enjoyed a cocktail then a mixture of tapas with family. Several of the most unusual dishes weren't available which was very disappointing. Pretty good value and most dishes tasted great. Staff were 20/10 and even bought my husband some cake as it was his birthday. Would def come again.

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at Mere Court. This is our 4th visit and we will be back again. The food, staff and ambiance of mere court was 1st class I would definitely recommend.

We booked a table for 8 and 9 turned up but they were excellent making room and space for our extra person. I love Panama Hatties brilliant place, lovely food and excellent customer service. Definately be back...

Amazing quality and tasty food, great friendly service, relaxed and very good value for money. We have been going for years, best place around, quality shines through and love the waiters, great laugh and look after us every time.
