Fantastic service food was amazing , we love this place

We stayed two nights in a room at the Egerton Arms and had our meals there both evenings. There was a sufficient choice of dishes for us. We didn't have to wait long before or after ordering the food. It was all tasty and the portions were generous to the extent that after starters and mains we skipped desserts. The selection of wines on offer was reasonable. Service to table was very good. On average for the two nights we paid £75 per night for aperitifs, two course meal and wine. Very good value for money.

Very good meal, great service and loved the room. An enjoyable evening. Unfortunately there was no dessert menu as the chef for desserts was off sick so we were disappointed. Always like a pudding after a meal. So maybe should have bought some in from somewhere??? However it won’t put us off returning…

Called in on a Saturday afternoon after not visiting for many years. Both our meals were well presented and tasted great. Staff very welcoming and will be returning. I have awarded 5/5 as we went when the England game was on and so it was very quiet but that was not the restaurants fault.

Went to Bacchus to celebrate our Ruby wedding. Fabulous lunch, great staff really funny, couldnt do enough for us. Food great. Cant recommend highly enough. Thankyou for making it a special treat for us.

The salads are amazing and great if you are following a high protein/low carb diet. The quiche and french onion soup absolutely divine! All our party were extremely satisfied customers and will definitely come again!

Go here a lot as good service and great food but on our visit on 3/7/24 slow service which they said was due to an oven problem,my wife’s starters pastry was not cooked fully and her main was not hot. Will consider going again but they need to take ownership of the problem not just dismiss our complaint upon leaving

A large group of us went for a pre-theatre meal. We received a warm welcome, good service and delicious food.

Lovely meal in great surroundings, a good plateful. Also great that there us an area for dogs with diners. Never had a bad experience, my favourite place!
