Bellini’s – WadebridgeAlfie is a really excellent hands on manager. The food we had was excellent and the whole atmosphere was lovely.
The Royal Fowey Yacht Club – FoweyWe went for a Sunday lunch ,what I like at the Black Swan they serve more than just roasts .The service is excellant ,a nice welcome when you arrive .We had booked ,but this is the second time we have been put on a small round table ,when the food arrives there is not enough room for the food .We had the mussels ,nut roast .Plenty of veg with the nut roast cauliflower cheese the best It is so good to be able to have a good well cooked ,near to home
The Black Swan – HelstonThe olive tree staff were lovely and very attentive. We had a relaxing meal catching up with friends. I’m glad I booked as finding tables in the holidays can always be stressful and holiday traffic can cause delays. We had a simple light meal but passed on a desert. Perhaps a less expensive option to keep costs reasonable- a small ice cream maybe would have been nice. I must remember to ask for my salad dressing to come on the side - I like to decide how much dressing I put on. Superb surroundings if you sit outside.
Olive Tree – BudeThe view alone from the restaurant is worth a visit, but throw in the delicious food and friendly staff and you have a winning formula! The crowning glory was a gluten free cream tea which is so hard to find and often not great, but the restaurant wins on both counts.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonGreat food, good service. The outside seating area would benefit from a bit more effort and attention.
The Slipway – Port IsaacLovely meal and good service.
The Slipway – Port IsaacGreat food and friendly service. Good deals and drinks.
The Engine Inn – PenzanceWe took full advantage of the steak deals and were more than happy! Perfect steaks, delicious peppercorn sauce and even the peas were spot on! À great price and my steak kept me fed for two days! Really friendly and helpful staff who even put on an eclipse for us to enjoy afterwards !
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonAs always the food very very tasty - the staff are a lovely collection of people - nothing too much trouble and a really happy bunch. Everywhere was beautifully clean. The toilets too very clean and tidy! Would recommend to anyone !
