Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWe eat there regularly as we are locals but 5 of us went there for lunch with my visiting Mum. The staff as always were lovely but the lunch was spoilt by 2 things - Mum asked for a “naked” chicken burger but the chicken was very tough - to eat and cut. They added extra salad instead which piled the plate high and untidily sadly. The second was a mother, 2 young children and a set of grandparents at a neighbouring table - the children were excessively loud and disruptive and we did ask them to quieten down - unsuccessfully sadly. It was difficult to hear ourselves speak and we weren’t the only ones looking over at them hoping they might finish soon. Perhaps the staff could have advised them quietly about how disruptive and loud they were being. Spoilt an otherwise lovely lunch - won’t stop us going back as we are locals and they were definitely tourists (maybe that is why they were tolerated by staff)
Olive Tree – BudeBooked a table tonight for 8.15 online but when we arrived we were told we had booked late and a large table had booked meanwhile so we wouldn’t be served to 9pm. Please sort out your online system so this doesn’t happen again. We’re a visiting yacht so could have eaten on board if we had known rather than going on the river taxi into Fowey.
The Royal Fowey Yacht Club – FoweyWe've rented a house nearby and saw this restaurant across the street. What more can you do, then sponsering the locals. What a great ambiance, service and delicious food. Thank you for having us. Regards from The Netherlands
The Engine Inn – PenzanceWe had an excellent brunch enjoyed at this location with our grandchildren. We have visited on several occasions and have always been impressed.
Louis Tea Rooms – CallingtonGreat pub, lovely location and friendly staff. Our meal was a disappointment, being over salted (every dish) and a bit bland. For example, I had plaice and it was just salty white mush. The others had chicken supreme, which was just a roast chicken leg sat on undercooked broccoli swimming in a bland sauce.
The White Hart – LudgvanHad a great Sunday evening meal here. Roast was excellent, service great.couldn’t fault it! Highly recommend
Molesworth Arms – WadebridgeWhat a superb restaurant, we ate at 6pm on a Sunday evening, 2 adults and our daughter in a wheelchair that doesn’t eat. Staff were accommodating, friendly and very hospitable. Despite being holiday makers we felt extremely welcomed! Would highly recommend, portions were also very generous Thankyou, perfect anniversary dinner
The Mote – Port IsaacThe service was very slow . We had our drinks and payed for what we had but didn’t stay for our dinner as we had to be somewhere for 9am . Sorry for the poor review but we were not satisfied with the very slow service
Bellini’s – WadebridgeAbsolutely amazing as usual, food and service can’t be faulted and they made everything extra special for my birthday, couldn’t be happier with how it all went. Thank you to the whole team, you’re all amazing and I can’t wait to be back
The Mote – Port IsaacFrom the moment we walked through the door, Bellini’s made a brilliant first impression. We were greeted straight away by the barman, who was both polite and professional, and made us feel welcome while serving our drinks as we waited to be seated. Once at our table, the two waitresses who looked after us were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made the experience feel special. Our food was absolutely delicious, and their service throughout the evening was spot‑on. This was our first visit to Bellini’s, and we will definitely be returning. A wonderful atmosphere, great staff, and excellent food, everything you want from a night out.
Bellini’s – WadebridgeThe food was absolutely amazing, 11/10 all round! Staff always friendly and attentive, would definitely recommend anybody to come here on any occasion
The White Hart – LudgvanWe had such a lovely evening. Staff and food were excellent and it's such a gorgeous setting
The Mote – Port IsaacI am sorry to say that our meal was not good. The Pizzas were good. However the salad was just from a bag and the tomato was skinned and all that was there was a few thin slices. My Calamari were inedible, on a bed of Garlic Mayonnaise so they were soggy. Calamari are normally crisp and the mayonnaise is served on the side. This is the second time we have been to have a meal and it will be our last.
Bellini’s – WadebridgeA hidden Gem,… we had a lovely meal (fish platter) at the Cha Cha Cha and cocktails too. The food was really tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and did a great job as it was busy! I would highly recommend the Cha Cha Cha and we will be going again! A****
Cha Cha Cha – FalmouthBrilliant food. Great staff. Lush location. Definitely worth a visit.
