Really good food in the pheasant inn, this visit was lunchtime and decided to try the fish pie it was amazing full of flavour with salmon white fish , prawns and mussels served with peas and carrots would certainly recommend it

The Sunday roast was delicious, served nice and hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit to family and friends, and will book another table when we are in the area.

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereLovely evening meal at Grants. Service was attentive but relaxed . Offered choice of where to sit, we selected the conservatory. Gluten free options were clear and the chef also agreed to adjust one of the non gluten free options to make it suitable which was great. All food was beautifully presented and delicious. A very nice evening and would revisit if in the area again I future.

Prince of India – WindermereWe dined early ay 1800hrs and were first to enter Lewis's Bistro. We received a warm welcome and shown to our reserved table. The food that we ordered was of excellent quality, superbly cooked by the chef and well presented at table. The low volume background music and the arrival of other diners soon created a comfortable dining experience. Unfortunately, we dined on the last evening of our holiday in Grasmere, otherwise we would have returned to sample other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.

The service was excellent and the owner told us all about the food what was getting prepared for us. 3 small plates for £20 was well worth it and the bread and dips were amazing. Will definitely be coming back for date day there again soon.
