Pheasant Inn – KeswickThe pheasant inn is a long established pub in Keswick with a good reputation, very busy at times, but a plea to the serving staff please give people a chance to sit down and enjoy a drink before being harassed for your order. It would also be beneficial if you comment on the meal or the price that staff accept your comments and don’t come up with counter comments to suggest that you were wrong in your views.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWow, not only was everything first class and tasty, when leaving we struggled to get a taxi and the weather was garbage , the manager offered us a lift back to campsite, that’s what I call going that extra mile!!!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe've never been before. We booked prior to our holiday and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding, the service was good. Even on a busy night the staff still had time to check if everything was OK with our meal. They even had a doggy menu.

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAmazing as always
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleOne of our favourite places to eat in Penrith. Friendly, efficient service coupled with delicious food and a well balanced yet not overly busy menu makes for a fantastic dining experience. We like to try and eat here at least once a month. At this visit I had the Soufflé to start which is divine, followed by the mushroom cobbler. This was a random choice by me and it was bloody lovely! The carrots were cooked to perfection and were very tasty.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithSecond time here. We will return soon. Nice and cozy place for dinner/date. Welcoming and generous staff. The service was excellent. For the food quality, can't complain about price, it's just right. For those who appreciate italian dishes, you can pick blind folded, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making our date special! (Again)
