Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereLoved the atmosphere and service. The food and drink was amazing. Four different small plates - all tasted excellent. We will be back
Sage and Vine – CarlisleGreat food as always! Cosmina makes this restaurant, consistently good service every time . So welcoming and always full of recommendation's
Sage and Vine – CarlisleAmazing food, lovely people, will definitely be back with friends and family what a little gem.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleMixed review. We had a Sunday lunch which overall was nice, it tastes good, but you only got one slice of meat, which we thought was very tight given it cost £21! We had to ask for the creamy leeks, as this was not brought out. Nor did we have parsnip. We had to ask for this also. We thought it was massively overpriced and to charge £16 for a kids Sunday lunch is robbery! The service was hit and miss. Took them 45 minutes from arrival to take our order… also tight measures with hot water for a cup of tea. No teapot. Hot water and tea bag straight into a cup. Although by the time you take the teabag out you’re left with half a cup of tea. Did ask for more hot water which they did provide. Like I said food did taste nice, but not for the price.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickBooked table for 2.30 but arrived 45 minutes early, staff were extremely friendly and explained if I waited a short while they could accommodate us. Bought a beer and 5 minutes later a table was available. Booked Sunday dinner (roast beef) the food was plentiful, good and reasonably priced the staff and service were excellent.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWe had a fantastic lunch at La Mezzaluna yesterday. Lovely food, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't have to wait long for our starters and main courses. Can definitely recommend

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeExcellent food, fantastic staff and service. We regularly visit, walking over from Pooley Bridge for drinks or food or both and we are never disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit already.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithWe’ve eaten out at a couple of establishments locally and frankly appreciating the area, they were just not worth the money. This eatery is different, staff were extremely friendly, the food was piping hot, in good quantity and very very tasty. Would highly recommend.
Horse and Farrier – Penrithbeautiful as always
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWe enjoyed a family get together for dinner. Great service and tasty food that came out quickly. Thank you Horse and Farrier for a lovely dinner out.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithThe BEST roast I’ve had that’s not been cooked by my mum. I’ve been coming to the Lake District on holiday for years and never fail come and visit to have something to eat or drink. If anyone asks where to go in the lakes I always tell them a must try is the food at the pheasant inn. Homely and traditional British food, cooked fantastically. Just what you want after a day walking on the fells. Staff are always so warm and accommodating, and walking distance if you’re staying in Keswick. Looking forward to booking my table for my next trip!
