Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent food. Lots of it plus extra gravy. Proper lakeland pub. Good beers and locals willing to chat. Would definitely go again.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickMy review is based upon my spa and afternoon tea. This was an amazing experience from arrival to departure, the spa was amazing with all the amenities I could ask for from hot tub to salt rooms to the tropical shower wich was perfect. The afternoon Tea that followed my spa experience was lovely with plenty of choices to choose from. The hotel staff were friendly and more than happy to cater to my individual needs also. Thankyou. Will most definitely be back for an overnight stay where I will follow up on my review of the stay wich I already know is gonna be 5 star from the service I have received on my first visit.
The Netherwood Hotel and Spa – Grange-over-SandsWe had an excellent afternoon Tea at the castle and were made very welcome by our hosts. The selection of items on the menu was well chosen and just a little different from the 'usual afternoon tea'. We especially liked the soup in a jar idea. It was January when we visited, so was quiet, but we loved the peaceful ands homely ambience of the castle. We would definitely recommend the castle and the afternoon tea.
