Had a very enjoyable meal with friends, food good, but thought the wine was very expensive, l was charged almost £9 for a glass of wine that should have been £6.75 did not realise until we returned home!!!

Loved every single thing about our Lewis' experience from a warm and friendly welcome, great ambiance friendly and attentive service and divine food! We had the hallibut steak and the sea bass which were both incredible (and very good value for money too). Thank you. We will return when next in Grasmere!

My wife and I were impressed with the atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff who all carried out their jobs with a smile on their faces. The food was excellent, plentiful and very good value. The fish pie is the best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. A great place for a great meal.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We came once last year and decided we would come back this year. Highly recommend this pub.
