Good points , food was nice portion sizes were tiny and one of the smaller dishes was only Luke warm . The two larger plates of food were hot but the menu doesn't describe exactly what is on the plate, the pork belly had a bone to the side and was more the size of a chop.. I feel the food is nice but portion size let's it down... As for the service , the two girls serving that afternoon had to be shouted twice from the kitchen to bring our food from the hot lock as they were round the corner busy cracking away with the bar person. I also asked for a second pint when my main course was brought to the table,but it never arrived . And again we wanted to pay and the two girls were busy again cracking to the bar employee, there was only four people having food at that time so not busy . I thought the service was poor on this occasion ,the food was nice but pricey for the portion size...we will try this place one more time but improvement is needed or we won't be back...Come on Peddler, sort it...

We visit Amigos regularly and the food is always great! The sangria tastes superb and we always leave happy. 5/5

Given a Red Letter Day Tea we chose to spend it at Augill . It was a great success. Really enjoyed the afternoon. Great tea time experience. All the staff were v friendly and it was a lovely present. Rosemary

An excellent afternoon tea with plenty of everything. Innovative choices with out being weird which made a vey pleasant change. A Country house retreat at its best. Great place to relax with caring friendly service. Will go again and again.

Brilliant service, clean, courteous and excellent food. I would recommend the Amigos Ulverston to anybody who likes good food and service. Warm and welcoming:)

We had a lovely meal for our anniversary, the food was fantastic as well as the service. All the should feel very proud they were great.

It was a good dinner, friendly staff, food was nice and the portions were good. We missed a little bit of more choices of draught beers, and not being able to eat in the garden, because it is a nice place.

Beautiful surroundings, castle is just lovely. The staff where really nice. The afternoon tea was lovely, but We thought there would be a few more sandwiches and cake than there was. It was still nice though. We would return

Really enjoyed our visit, we were seated very quickly. Good covid precautions were followed. The atmosphere was good and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Excellent experience. Food was fantastic, best meal we have had which says alot for the difference places we have ate around the country.

Firstly the food here is brilliant, really loved it. Also appreciated the Mexican music outside whilst having cocktails. Felt like you were on holiday.
