Amigos The Mexican – UlverstonWonderful evening spent here with friends on holiday. We were impressed with the design and little touches in Amigos especially the cactus light to use to get the staff attention it's make it so unique! The food eaten by all the party was lovely and it catered for a Gluten Free member of the group. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes up to visit again as the atmosphere was lovely and the staff where super friendly. Thank you for such a great evening and I will be back for sure!

Amigos The Mexican – UlverstonGreat to get back into Amigos following the Covid close down, it did not disappoint. Wonderful Seafood Burrito and great service just like before, it will not be long before we are back. A little treasure that offers excellent food, staff who are genuinely eager to please and a welcome taste of things getting back to normal. We loved it!

The Bakehouse – Barrow-in-FurnessAmazing food, service and atmosphere
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleMy partner and I had a delicious meal at the restaurant on Saturday (May 2021). We are new to the local area and it was great to find somewhere so close by for special occasions. There was a great atmosphere, staff were very welcoming and the building looked stunning (we picked a nice sunny night). Good variety on the menu, (we have allergies and vegetarian requirements so not always a given) and we were both very pleased with our choices - and at the same time, jealous of each others! The Green Tea dessert with sorbet was amazing. Staff especially doing a great job. Will certainly be recommending and returning.
The Music Room Restaurant at Augill Castle – Kirkby StephenWe had a truly superb dinner at Augill Castle on Sunday night. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. The menu is short because the chef clearly cares about quality over quantity but I believe there are changes every day. The restaurant is a beautiful room in a stunning castle and we felt totally relaxed as soon as we walked in. The staff were very friendly and really knew what they were doing. Visiting the castle was the perfect way to end lockdown and what a way to regain a bit of normality! Next time we will definitely stay the night.
