Horse and Farrier – PenrithEasy to book online. Fantastic service, attentive friendly staff. Food was excellent and they tried hard to cater for a dairy intolerance. We don't come often but know it will always a good meal here
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleOur go to place for special occasions as a family. Fabulous food and fantastic service! Thank you
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithHaving been before we were expecting better. However the Halibut was very disappointing. Mine was slightly overcooked but my wife's was raw and smelled of chlorine. Her meal was replaced but the whole atmosphere had gone because we wanted to dine together and this was now not possible. Halibut was perhaps a bridge too far for a country pub - and perhaps you should stick to regular pub menus. We will return but have learned our lesson.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely pub with amazing food, great staff and great atmosphere, we will definitely be back next time we are in the area! Thankyou☺️
Pheasant Inn – KeswickEasily our favourite restaurant in Penrith (and possibly all of Cumbria). Consistently excellent food - the cheese soufflé is a firm favourite - and genuinely fantastic service. Highly recommend.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithAlways friendly, helpful staff. Cosy, atmosphere pub in the lakes, what more would you need
Pheasant Inn – KeswickI’ve eaten at Sage and Vine a few times but this was the first time with our son and daughter-in-law. I’d wanted them to eat here for ages and we booked this visit for my son’s birthday, so I was hoping it wouldn’t disappoint. I needn’t have worried, however. The food, the service and the atmosphere were as brilliant as ever.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleLove this pub in my favourite village. We had a lovely lunch well served by three hard-working young women. It was my third visit and I will return!
Horse and Farrier – PenrithLively festive meal. Glad we booked but fair for this time of the year. But the guys helped get us seated and ready in good time. Pint of gold was lovely.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeAmazing food , and great service
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFantastic food, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Great menu choices and atmosphere. Thank you.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleLovely meal, service was great.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleFood was delicious as normal. Served nice and warm. Staff were friendly and welcoming
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleA small cosy venue with a beautiful tasty meal to start the Christmas celebrations in Grasmere! Staff very welcoming and attentive! Definitely worth a visit, and we will be back!
Goody Blake’s – GrasmereEnormous portions, friendly service. Absolutely top notch but bring an appetite to this homely and no fuss pub! Absolutely loved it
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe were a party of 16 having a pre Christmas lunch. The restaurant was accommodating in the request to where we were seated. Thank you for that. Being a large party we had pre booked our menu choices. We all opted for the Sunday lunch. Food was served promptly and piping hot. The children were served at the same time as adult starters and they all tucked in. The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was extremely efficient with polite and friendly staff. Thank you to all the staff at the Queen's Head.
