Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleFood was delicious and staff were friendly and attentive.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAlways a treat to eat at Lewis's. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Good choices for GF. Speed of service judged perfectly and prices on a par with other local restaurants.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWonderful food and service as always and a great atmosphere
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAbsolutely lovely meal. Very good quality delicious food, excellent wine and prompt and welcoming service. A really lovely evening thank you.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleHad a lovely meal first time we went last week so decided to go again. Unfortunately that was not good, husband order a starter of soup with bread, we also ordered mains at the same time. The soup was nice but the bread had mold on it, he had already eaten one piece before he noticed. I told the guy(owner I think) he just looked and took it away, no apology or anything, I told him we didn't want the mains and paid for the drinks before leaving. There was no kind of acknowledgement, apology, remorse. He just wasn't bothered, hence to say not going again
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsLovely lunch. Friendly, well informed staff. Good atmosphere, well presented & tasty food. Will definitely return
Sage and Vine – CarlisleMy most favourite lunch stop. Getting to be a regular treat.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWe had an excellent meal and the staff were efficient & friendly. We’d definitely recommend it.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWe had a wonderful meal at Lewis's Bistro so much so that we booked again for the next night and were not disappointed. The first night I had steak and my wife had the salmon and the second night we both had the lamb, we could not fault any of them they were excellent. The desserts did not disappoint either the sticky toffee pudding and the Eccles cake were absolutely delicious. We shall not hesitate to return here next time we are in Grasmere. Thank you all.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGreat pub. Food and drinks great quality and value, staff are very polite and professional and it’s dog friendly. Our only complaint is the payment is card only. Cash is King !
Pheasant Inn – KeswickGorgeous food … only think I could fault was you were fully booked & the poor bar lad was on his own but other than that couldn’t fault it at all
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsBeautiful food. Great little pub. Got to speak to the chef after he had finished his shift. He's very passionate in what he does. Well done chef!
Pig and Whistle – Cartmel5 star!
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleWe visited the Pheasant Inn for Sunday lunch and couldn’t fault it it was lovely, we both had the pork it was so tender there was a good choice of vegetables and a giant Yorkshire pudding , the staff are really friendly /polite and very professional, we definitely would recommend the pheasant inn and we will definitely visit again.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent meal, served by a friendly bunch of staff. Spiced parsnips followed by seared pheasant breast, with two pints of Pheasant ale. A lot of pheasant in the Pheasant Inn, showing a lack of imagination on my part, but all very pleasant. Plenty of other options in Keswick but I would go back here
Pheasant Inn – KeswickExcellent food as always. Lovely ambience this is a popular restaurant so booking ahead is wise especially at peak times. Never disappoints- one of the best places to eat in Keswick
